I can tell you that as a young Canadian boy, I definitely looked up to the USA. I planned to move there when I grew up. As a young man, I still dreamt of moving there one day… but then Trump won. And then he started doing absolutely insane things. And then I noticed that a good chunk of the population was supporting him, regardless of what he did. I no longer look up to the USA. Instead, I now pray for them. 🙏🏼
