That outbreak did not become a pandemic specifically because of the work of the epidemiologists in the NSC that Trump eliminated. Epidemiology is the study of historic epidemics and the science of identifying and limiting the spread of contagions. Epidemiologists are highly trained professionals who do extraordinary work on keeping the public safe. I notice your only effort to refute my comment is to ridicule it and state an opinion and declare it a fact without ANY supporting evidence. You Trump trolls keep claiming China caused it, but you have to speculate and lie to support your conspiracy theories. “China hid how severe the virus was” is the biggest lie you trolls tell. Less than two weeks after the first confirmed covid-19 death in Wuhan China provided the world with the sequencing information which allowed the world to create tests and begin work on vaccines. When China closed down Wuhan province, the world media was allowed to film and report on the lockdown. Residents and visitors in Wuhan, including Americans were allowed to share what was happening on social media. On February 4th, Trump told Bob Woodward that the virus was airborne and more deadly than the most strenuous flu. At that time, that information could have only come from China. NOWHERE ELSE. Yes, it is Trump’s trade war. He announced he was starting it because China would not bow to his demands. Trump also announced that scientific cooperation between the two countries(which was done based on a signed agreement) was being cancelled to PUT PRESSURE on China to bow to his demands. If you want to peacefully de-escalate China, you do not start by bullying and pressuring them and violating signed aggreements. Weak attempt troll, but thanks for playing.
