She knew what they did to people who go against the big man (as she admits). She knew the terrible damage he did to the country and the world and only stood up once he incited a deadly insurrection. And the media just gushes over her “bravery” over and over and over again. Yes, she was brave for testifying. But just like pence, you don’t get a whole lot of credit for doing the right thing after doing the wrong thing 1000 times. But the media (even left wing) still gushes over her.

What shocks me is how long these investigations are taking, and still we seem far from anyone in the leadership being held to account. A couple of years ago, the Johnson government in the UK tried to circumvent the rules to adjourn parliament, and within 72 hours the UK Supreme Court had heard arguments, considered the case, and ruled against Johnson. A vital element in justice is that it is timely.
