Maybe you should try reading about the actual Medication that has been used safely for eighty years for Malaria and is approved by the FDA for Malaria.

Fauci stated this drug shows great promise. South Korea, China, Poland, etc. have more data than Fauci with respect to hydroxychloroquineor (aka Plaquenil) (which per the French study should be used with azithromycin). Their data shows that this drug helps with minimal side effects. The US is starting trials on this drug combination and other drug combinations. If you can wait and you are not sick than of course wait for the conclusion of these trials. If you can’t wait you can pass on trying these drugs or you can try these drugs (with your Doctors permission at a safe dose). Personally I would try them if I had more than a mild case of the coronavirus and was over age 50. Again they have been used for many years and they have been proven safe. You should let people (with their Doctor’s consent) decide on their own. My Doctor told me he would prescribe this medication in a second. Fauci is a brilliant scientist who wants a double blind study to prove their effectiveness. I agree with his approach if you have time to wait. Again South Korea and China have already tested this drug. If I get sick, I will go with South Korea, China, Poland, etc. at this point. That is my decision. Let the patient and their doctor decide what is best for the patient. I was also told by a friend that this drug is sold out throughout the US.

It is a drug that has been around for decades. You are correct, many countries are also testing it. Look through the comments and you’ll see why CNN conflated a known safe drug with a couple in Arizona drinking fish bowl cleaner. You’ll see the comments “Trump is lying” or “Trump doesn’t care if he kills people” etc etc. It just shows how sick CNN is.

The article about the man dying after trying fish aquarium treatment chloroquine was CNN trying to put blame on President Trump for mentioning the drug… He was in no way telling people to use them.
