When it was paying 20 a barrel Canada was only getting 7 of that 20. We have to invest into new oil which is not in Alberta check the northwest territories, nunavut and Newfoundland. And Canada has to protect the north west passage way, that will be the new Panama canal, revenue from taxing ships to use it will generate more money than Canada has ever seen.
Ken Clements I’m talking about the use of oil and gas as it is. Health, wealth, education, employment, recreation and lifestyle are tightly linked with fossil fuel usage. If we were to shut off use of them, our lifestyle will change for the worse. Fossil fuels are an existential resource.
