    1. @Van Life On Social Security As did NONE of her direct competitors. Is it not possible for you to realize that she is one remarkable human without you also making attempts to distract from her achievements? All of us are afforded the ability to have our own political beliefs, but they should in no way be used to distract nor detract one iota of what this person has achieved. She does not deserve to have her achievements overshadowed for political reasons.

For the record, I do not agree with athletes who were born as biological males competing in segregated events with and against athletes who were born biologically female — regardless of when an individual’s hormone suppressors were started and for how long they have been taken. What I do believe is that this woman does not deserve to have her accomplishments overshadowed by the agenda of anyone or any group.

    1. Is that how little respect you believe this athlete in the video deserves? It’s evident that you don’t even know her public stance on biologically born males competing against biologically-born women.

    2. @B Bodziak comment is sarcastic in support of actual women. Just making fun of cnn and liberal media that can’t define a woman.

  1. She is truly an inspiration. Comments are very focused on her athletic achievements, but she is also a qualified attorney, which is an additional feat in and of itself. It is mind-boggling that given all of her fairly recent physical injuries, she was not only able to overcome those injuries, especially a perforated lung, in order to even enter a competition, she not only entered an Olympic competition, she won the Gold and was over 40yo to boot! She really is at the very top of the spectrum on what individuals have achieved. As if this was not remarkable enough, she also has 3 young children AND is a licensed attorney. She deserves far more attention than a 2-3 minutes YT short. She is the type of athlete that deserves to be the focus of a documentary. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a news report this time next year detailing her climb to the top of Mt. Everest.

  2. I’m happy for her success. This kind of sport definitely requires real tough training, I cannot imagine having such severe injuries and training for a marathon. She obviously has a very understanding husband, or maybe she doesn’t as she never mentioned him.

  3. I am 45 years old with very little set aside for retirement at this point. I have always been curious about the stock market and have witnessed some people who played the game right and retired early because they used the stock market. When I ask them, most said that they invested very little to start with, but their portfolio grew. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns

    1. you initially said you set side very little, but then at the end you have. significant amount of capital, what is this contradiction, and why are you asking that here
