The educational system has failed the society!!!! Kids need to be taught how to deal with problems and how to reach out for help. Jamaica is need of common sense guiding our policy creation. A degree does not equate to an intelligent individual … A lot of this is friendship driven. For lack of vision the people perish.

The problems in society stems first from the family unit. Like many countries, Jamaica’s family unit is broken. Many homes do not have a father and mother. Children need both parents with the necessary love, patience needed to raise children. The churches and society are a reflection of the homes.
It is indeed a big socioeconomic plaguing Jamaica- broken or dysfunctional families
That has nothing to do with mental health! Mental health affects people of every background socioeconomic, and family structures. Proble is the taboo and lack of information and the unwillingness of people to seek help. Let’s me be real and informed
Also Dysfunctional Persons in society, are the result of physically and emotionally abusive parents.
These children then grow up to think that it is the norm to be abusive and chaotic, thus the cycle repeats.
MY HELP WILL COME FROM THE LORD
I see that people have been unearthing all kinds of fact proof and finds that can add tremendously to the tourist industry, all kind of tunnel, forts and plantations up in the mountains and valleys. These finds can add massive amounts of jobs to Jamaica by starting roadways up into the mountains, and creating apprenticeship for the strong young men to help excavating these road ways and making good money to take care of new families. After the roadways museums can be established and new towns with new subdivision can be established on these majestic mountains for the citizens. Affordable housing should be considered and even allowing those who want to farm to stake claim to land space. Jamaica is so majestic and full of hidden spaces to revitalize the country it is limitless. I challenge the prime minister to take on the challenge not to give away our land to the Chinese and other foreigners, but to heavily include the locals to get involved in expanding the growth of the country and take position of parcels of land for the purpose of building and development. More jobs less crime. More for locals, less resentment and crime. Do more security monitoring with satellite power. Jamaica can come up more for the land is its power. Beautiful place.
