The reason why the Trump administration won’t release federal aid to the state of New York is that they closed down his Trump Foundation. The state of New York won a court case against the Trump family for operating a fraudulent charity for the last 30 years. When New York tried to collect Trump’s delinquent taxes Trump moved his primary residence to Florida as retaliation. So now Trump has the power of life and death over New York as he did with Puerto Rico and Trump wants to punish the people of New York for their “disloyalty”. It will be a joy to see the Trump family’s assets seized as repayment for his delinquent taxes and auctioned off.

The GOP assumed that Trump would play THEIR GAME when in reality the GOP is playing TRUMP’S GAME. This is the same thing that happened with Franz Von Papen and Hitler. Von Papen was a conservative right-wing politician who was elected Vice-Chancellor who brought together a loose coalition of clergy, industrialists, and financiers to back Hitler. He thought that Hitler could be legitimized, tamed, directed, and controlled when it ended up that Hitler’s populist cult ended up dominating, discrediting, and marginalizing the conservative political mainstream. This EXACT process happened early in the Trump regime when Trump’s base labeled everyone who wouldn’t kowtow to Trump as RINO’s or never Trumper’s. The GOP isn’t supporting Trump out of loyalty. The simple fact is they are looking to their survival in the next election and they all want access to the cash cow that is a Trump endorsement. So NONE of them dare say a single bad word about Trump because they are afraid of having his base them turn against them. It’s no accident that GOP reps are dropping like flies. They don’t want to be associated with Trump and they don’t want to be a rubber stamp for dictatorship. The GOP has become complicit by either their actions or their inaction and won’t say a word against him.
