Let`s see where we`re at today with this governor…. he sent elderly people to nursing homes knowing they were infected w Covid-19. Of course the whole home became infected and thousands died throughout NY state including health care workers.
Besides THAT brilliant move it took him 8 weeks to decide to disinfect the transit system where 2 people were found dead.
Then he decides he wants to tax the nurses who came to NY to help with the pandemic!
Now he`s wondering why the lockdown did not stop the spread of the virus?! DUH!

Well, I believe we have a CDC, a NIH and a Walter Reed set of facilities in this country with massive budgets. We have federal grants in almost every research university in this country. The massive failure you speak to goes back 10-15 years. Somebody dropped the ball a long time ago. They dropped it again and again, annually, leading into 2018, 2019 and 2020. The first SARS was 2003. Why does this country, today, not have an adequate capacity to create safe, reliable, quick-answer test kits by the millions, derived from plants in this country, meeting federal standards. Not talking about a mail-it-in kit and wait a week for the result, and it gets mixed up with somebody else’s test in the overworked lab – kit. The blame is to be spread in many directions. It would have been a lot cheaper to hire BRILLIANT people, at double or triple pay, and insure that we protect this nation properly. Generals tell the colonels what needs to be done to protect the country. The colonels set the plan in motion and kick butt. Then on it goes down the line – until it happens.
I DON’T CARE WHO FIE. REOPEN THE STATE OR YOUR GONNA CAUSE ALL OUT CHAOS AND ANARCHY.
