There was no quid pro quo, just facts and the truth. Biden’s actions were already investigated by republicans in 2015. They found his actions were appropriate and lawful. Biden told the truth but where’s the rest of the conversation?
Fact —The prosecutor was corrupt. He wasn’t investigating companies with ties to Putin.
Fact—European leaders & Obama had already decided to pull money & military support out of the country unless the president fired the prosecutor immediately.
Fact—Biden was sent to deliver the message. The European leaders had full knowledge of the message. They were prepared to end financial support and pull their people out of the country.

FYI: Republicans investigated Biden role in the firing of the Ukraine prosecutor in 2015 . They found he did nothing inappropriate or unlawful. Republican senators know this is bullsh**. Republican insane conspiracy theories are just that insane. They only want to muddy the water for Biden. I wouldn’t put it past Barr manufactured new evidence considering his current behavior. Ron Johnson & other republicans’ PACs have received millions from Putin allies.
