Rep. Matt Gaetz, a Florida Republican on the Judiciary Committee, said he was kicked out of this morning's hearing with Fiona Hill. An official working on the impeachment inquiry said Gaetz was booted because he does not sit on any of the committees conducting the impeachment investigation. Gaetz "attempted to crash today’s deposition despite being ineligible and refused to leave, causing an unnecessary delay in the deposition," the source added.

@sixstringman that’s the point of “closed door testimony”…there is no grandstanding when the cameras aren’t there. Just an actual interview/inquiry. When a zealot like Gaetz is in there, cameras or not, there is no inquiry…just a circus. That’s why some of the older members of these committees are there, they (mostly) follow procedure and protocol instead of political agenda when the cameras are off.
Gaetz comes across as someone who’s been shocked most of his life.
