Our nation is like an airplane; it requires both the left and right wings working together in tandem to operate properly and safely. Only problem is the Reich-wing decided to try flying solo, forcing us all into a nose-dive! Care about the issues, disdain political gamesmanship, while still recognizing politics is an inseparable and necessary element. Have always respected and valued loyal opposition, even if in disagreement with the ideology. Fact is, though, the GOP has abdicated the requisite role of loyal opposition to become a mindless, tribalistic hyper-partisan Republican cult placing political party over truth, reason, and country.
Notice how republicans use capitalism the same way they use democracy, both to their benefit.

Republicans mostly use democracy and capitalism to benefit themselves _solely._ Have noticed how Democrats typically have more altruistic motivations and goals, looking to serve the public and not just themselves or their political party; how few enter the revolving door between government and lobbying for big industries and corporations; how they invariably support getting big money out of politics.
Which is why we detest and oppose the false equivalencies presented by some that “they’re all the same” and that “your vote doesn’t matter.” Democrats have been on an upward trajectory for decades, cleaning up their act. They may not always be perfect, they make mistakes, but at least they are progressing forward in the right direction. Whereas, the GOP has been in a downward trajectory for decades, diminishing politics with deceit, divisiveness, and dirty tricks, taking a wrecking ball to clean, efficient government that works for ALL the people.

I was embarrassed for Biden. The whole world saw him fall apart. America must not vote for a man who needs to be protected by a television presenter.
10% silver lining: At least most of America is big enough to admit that this IS embarassing, rather than worry about losing face. If this crap happened in China, they would get on board before admitting it sucked. “Saving face” is for emotional losers. Winners know how to admit when they got it dead wrong. That leads to social evolution. But like I said … 10% silver lining.

30 days before the election is a funny time for them to grow a spine and/or conscience. They sat by while Trump and Barr have made a mockery of our legal system and our intelligence agencies while Barr suppressed the Mueller report, mischaracterized it’s findings, and expressed the need to retaliate against those who did the investigating. They watched career FBI and State dept careers destroyed. Almost immediately after “this Russher thing” Trump tried to blackmail Ukraine into creating phony “evidence” against Biden’s son and stood by as the president lied about it, then admitted it on TV. They voted to not allow witnesses or evidence in the phony “trial” of our traitor in chief and then voted to acquit. They’ve said nothing about him undermining the legitimacy of the election. They’ve said nothing about bounties on troops. They said nothing about deploying non-uniformed federal “troops” in unmarked vans to snatch up citizens of blue states, or the extreme violence to protesters including an old man’s cracked head on the pavement. They’ve said nothing about his alleged illegal tax deductions. But not that their poll numbers are looking bad and they realized they could actually lose the Senate…
He can’t control himself enough to participate in a debate, but a third of the population thinks he’s suitable to be president.
