      Clapper, Brennan and Schiff will not stay unscathed by this either because well… Treason is Treason. With FISA demanding more from the FBI right now as they investigate what happened, FISA is in the fight for their jobs because FISA knows it to will be held accountable and so they are going to protect themselves first and the FBI dead last. Anyways, with FISA investigating we will see the left feed on themselves as they all start throwing each other under the bus to save themselves, and the illusion of the left “putting others before themselves” will take on a whole new meaning.

    1. @christopher weise you are comparing what to murder? the 8th amendment deals with that as far as crime and punishment. Obama was fined $375,000 for campaign violation failure to account 1,300 contributions totaling more than $1.8 million. Another person went to jail for $40,000 in straw donation. While I agree that no matter how good the economy is, it doesn’t allow anybody to break the law with impunity. With that said, what law did Trump break? Be specific. Does that mean you support throwing all those entering this country illegally, in jail as well? After all, by your logic, they broke the law and laws must be enforced.

Even Sondland testified that Ukraine didn’t have to do the investigation, just announce it to smear Biden’s name. It wasn’t about corruption for U.S. security reasons. That’s why it’s illegal. I live in Wisconsin. 2 farms per day statewide are going bankrupt. Farmers around me are committing suicide because they lost farms that were in the family for generations. ALL of this is because of Trump’s stupid trade war/tariff BS. When Trumpers talk about the “great economy” i could point them to a farmer’s funeral to open their eyes to reality.

    4. @christopher weise I read the Mueller report. Nowhere did it give me any indication that Russia elected trump. I never denied that Russia interfered in US elections. In fact, there are plenty of evidence that they have been doing it for many years. With so much hatred for trump, I’m just wondering why nobody has brought up enough significant dirt to nail him? I can understand why you are not happy with the guy. If any president is convicted for a crime, I will stand with you in demanding that the person be impeached, removed, and thrown in jail. But until we have the facts, all are presumed innocent until proven guilty, even if I don’t like the person.

    1. From Ireland Stop trying to understand these people, You already do see how their brains work. They function very well, they know what they know, believe what they believe, they don’t question, or think about big issues or concepts.

      They cannot be reached by appeals to reason, only by appeals to emotion, so it is pointless to try. But, take heart, that will change and soon.
      I’m nearly 70, spent my life enraged and frustrated, asking those same questions here in Ireland, an incredibly conservative Catholic country historically, legally and socially and morally. Yet, within 20 years, we have upended everything, especially government institutions, laws, social and individual freedoms and rights, just about everything that seemed unchangeable.

      We do have an excellent public education system, once completely church run, now secular, diverse, and inclusive. Our Taoiseach, ( Prime Minister), is openly gay, and his partner and represent Ireland all over the world. Just a big example of how quickly a society can change. My advice, don’t focus on a lost cause. I don’t try to understand Quantum Theory — I never will.

  11. I am so sick of all these pundits not calling a spade a spade. I moved to York Pennsylvania from Washington DC. It’s an hour and a half drive but talk about the amount of culture shock oh, it’s crazy. These people up here are totally racist and I’m not just talking about the white ones. I feel like I stepped back into the 1960s moving here and I’m doing everything I can to move out of Pennsylvania. These people support Trump because they’re racist and they believe that he’s against immigrants who will take their manufacturing jobs which is all that they have left here since the coal mines shut down. They don’t care about politics or the economy, or all the other BS that they’re talking about. They feel left behind, hate that alot of their kids are moving away for a better life and end up unindoctrinated and having kids with folk outside their race (believe me, cuz I’m white they felt they could express these frustrations without consequence not knowing I’m half Cuban. I cant mention how many times I’ve had to shut down a disgusting convo at a dinner or in a bar with these people) and they feel like all the Latin people are taking all the manufacturing jobs. And Trump is just the baseball bat that they are using to beat us all over the head because they feel powerless since Obama. That’s it and that’s all.
