Outrage culture at its finest. If you’re offended, don’t think. Just rage and do whatever you can to ruin someone’s life, because your feelings matter more…
Wow I just got clickbaited by Atlantic news. They r going to have the parade in the day….

Go to the top and see who is forcing this non-issue.
I didn’t catch why the parade was cancelled in the first place. What rule changes and why were they made? Where there issues with nighttime parades? They alluded to other parades being cancelled is there a bigger story here?
david heipel i think a little girl fell off a float last year and died
@Steve Logue thank you Steve for informing me of what may have happened. That’s very sad.
The media’s expertise in leaving leaving out contex to induce outrage.
I feel the parade must go on.
i don’t get it are N.S. firefighters and city council afraid of the dark ???
It’s a safety issue. There was a child run over and killed during a Christmas parade last year. She fell underneath a float. Many communities are switching to a daytime parade to decrease the potential of another loss of life in the future.
@David Close your doors and lock them and never leave again, stop being a bunch of wimps.
Communities are deciding to move to daytime Christmas parades due to the tragedy that happened last year when a 4 year old girl lost her life after being run over by a float. It’s purely our community leaders looking out for the safety of our children. They’ll have the parade during daylight hours so kids are more visible if they wander onto the street.
Labor Unions ruin all they touch .
love glace bay I had a lot of family there
Testing the waters to cancel Christmas in the future because certain new comers don’t agree so Canada will lose everything it once enjoyed to satisfy racist newcomers.
”Any society that will give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both.”
That’s what you get for voting in marxists. They should be required to display their politics when running. Not that lefties in the maritimes would change their vote though.
