  1. None of us like it but evil people are out there and they will not give up their guns. When seconds count the police are only minutes away.

    1. Ok. I’m removing my thumbs up. Since CorporateTUBE decided to censor me for PG-13 “comedy”

Enjoy the vacuousness of your nature

    1. So why aren’t you saying anything about the presidents son that lied on his application to get a gun.
See that the problem with democrats and laws they don’t apply them equally. Then cry about equality

  2. We don’t have a gun problem. We have a people problem. It gets worse every day and the politicians are clueless.

    1. Avast majority of gun killings are in Demonrat cities. Don’t blame Republicans. Get rid of the cops! How’s that working for you left wingnuts?

  3. As a life-long Star Trek fan (primarily TOS and TNG, the others not so much, and heck NO to DSC), you made a GREAT summation of ‘Star Trek: First Contact’!

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Plus, you really captured the overall vision of Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek universe, which the latest incarnations of Star Trek (Kelvin timeline in the movies and the bastardized Prime timeline in the TV streaming shows) DO NOT espouse.

    Great job!

I can see that you’re a true Trek fan!

As for the gun control issue, there’s just too many guns. The countries that have virtually no mass shootings have tighter gun control laws and fewer guns. Sorry but that’s the truth.

It’s time for an amendment to the Constitution that states clearly who can own weapons—not the ambiguous Second Amendment.

Roddenberry’s Trek universe wouldn’t have these issues—especially after 3 devastating world wars and the Eugenics War that finally taught humans that violence is not the answer.

  4. For starters, let’s once and for all ditch the ‘too soon after the incident’ argument. This is a corrupt counter that, if we actually heed it, means it is reset to zero every time an incident occurs, and without any solid indicator of what might be ‘not too soon’.

  5. Simple. Copy automobile bills requiring insurance, yearly registration, training, age requirements and a license

  6. Require gun owners to have a license and insurance, similar to a driver’s license. Owners need to register their firearms like a car, pass a responsible owners’ test. Then people can be held accountable if they do not have a license or registration. Insurance can help compensate victims.

  7. Interesting idea (and enjoyable way of presenting it)
Can’t wait to see the results in a week.

Also, happy First Contact Eve everyone!
