@Soren Ingram It’s not about the ease of it, it’s about getting the ballot to the people they are intended. Voter addresses are outdated, so many ballots will be sent to old addresses. The postal service, like most government run programs constantly misdelivers mail to the wrong address. Anyone receiving someone’s ballot could cast a vote for that person, and steal their vote. It has many cases of this happening already in Nevada and New Jersey. In Nevada, people found ballots dumped and never delivered. So basically, their vote is canceled. They are complaining about lines, but at least they are guaranteed their vote will count. If you can’t make it to the polls, you can always request a mail in ballot. There is nothing stopping people from voting other then laziness, or lack of identification. It has also been confirmed that mail ballots are often sent to people who have died, again because the voter records are outdated and take to long to properly update.
@Steven V That looks like a highly prepared rant. Most 1st world countries don’t have voting on work days or such poor infrastructure that results in 5-9+ hrs queuing. Just looks un democratic…
If waiting in line to vote takes longer than waiting in line at the DMV, then there is a serious problem, and that problem is criminal in nature.

You realize those lines appear longer than they are because of coronavirus social distancing? You’re required to wait at a DMV, you’re not required to vote, so if waiting in line is such a burden on you don’t.

The separation of powers means that no single officeholder gets unlimited power. John Adams said that a constitutional republic was “a government of laws, and not of men”. A constitutional republic—a country where some decisions (often local) are made by direct democratic processes, while others (often federal) are made by democratically elected representatives. In other words, The Constitution is in teori democratic in US, but in reality a plutocracy as it is ruled by and for the rich by voting fraud and lobbing. You are mixing the constitution with if it is a democratic, diktatorisk or plutocratic process witch is something else.
this is also why people need to protest too, and stop them from taking democracy away. only reason why this happen is because they know people of color will vote against him.

How many convictions for vote tampering do you wan?. There have been many convictions for it. Not to mention that voters in Nevada and New Jersey have had their ballots stolen, or completely sent to the wrong address, and the person who got it voted in their place denying them the right to vote. There should be a voter ID system. No ID, no vote.
My point is to take the power away from the politicians. It is just an idea. We should be talking about ideas to make sure we don’t get stuck with Trump.
