I always struggle the idea of who are “The People”? Everyone seems to have opposing views and they all claim to be “The People”

Neither Iowa or New Hampshire should go first. Neither state is representative, demographically, of the nation as a whole. They consistently skew the Presidential races to agro issues and away from urban ones. Both electorates tend to be more conservative, particularly on the GOP side, than the nation as a whole.
