Video footage captured the moment a man attempted to grab a barista at a drive-thru in Washington state in what authorities say was an attempted kidnapping.

The Auburn Police Department posted on Twitter the security footage of the attempted abduction that occurred early Monday morning, asking the public to help identify the suspect.
In the footage, the barista is seen attempting to hand the man in the pickup truck something when he reaches out for the barista's arm. Police said the man attempted to drag the victim through the window "using a looped ziptie device."
The barista was able to fight the man off, police said, before he drove off.

Omg this poor girl I hope that she’s doing OK because that’s terrifying. He was trying to pull her through that window, that’s how desperate these kidnappers & traffickers are getting now a days, if you can’t carry a gun at work then have a knife in your pocket or a box cutter or even put a bar or something to knock him out with next to you at reaching distance, and it’s a good thing they had cameras that were actually working at that time. I’m so glad they caught him.
He seemed pretty incompetent. Was this the best plan he could come up with; was he going to put that zip tie on one arm, did he think no one else was inside, no cameras or how long it would take for him to get a fighting woman through that little window and his also. Ha
