There are many CERB & wage subsidy recipients in Alberta who are not in oil and gas. Meanwhile Freeland’s boss openly mused about fighting the recently proposed Alberta to Alaska railway. And there was nothing in the Throne Speech for oil and gas sector workers and we don’t expect much for them in the upcoming federal budget.
With oil prices where they are it’s really difficult for Albertan oil to compete.
WEXIT..the status quo means economic disaster for Alberta.

@Ted Poplaw Oil is sold on a global market. A lot of our oil is dirtier to produce and more expensive than oil produced elsewhere.
I’d prefer we continue moving away from oil as an energy source.
