There are 2,668 billionaires around the globe with 735 from the United States, says Forbes Magazine.

The ranks of billionaires is down by 87 over the past year, with their total worth dropping by $400 billion, says the latest list of the world's richest people from Forbes magazine. They are worth a combined $12.7 trillion.
Forbes cites the Russia-Ukraine war, the COVID pandemic and weaker markets for the dip in the number of billionaires. Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos top the list.
