You know you messed up….. when the police chief testifies against you! This police testifying against his own is an anomaly and not the norm!
@LAST WILL BE THE FIRST WTF are you evening talking about? Not attacking you, I just generally have no idea and want to be sure before I engage. It sounds like you’re asking people to let a murderer, in a position of power to murder, be allowed to continue to murder in that position? Actions have consequences and even if you forgive someone for doing wrong they still have to face the consequences of those actions. If you allow someone in power to continue to abuse that power then you essentially reward him for the abuse. I realize I’m talking elementary school ethics here but from your statement I’m getting a elementary school level of comprehension vibe.

Is he a unicorn or the standard?!? Those are two completely opposite statements.
The Standard they should try to achieve, but given the current professional standards of American Policing he is a Unicorn.

It was obvious to the Supervisor Sgt, the dispatch officer, the Chief, the Firefighter first responder and anyone who saw the video what they were witnessing. Guilty as charged.
What I find interesting is ,that people think it’s okay for the police to be considered as them and us? The whole concept of working for the government you’re no longer consider a citizen? And somehow they’re more important than the citizens ?

Looks like The Thin Blue Line has been broken on the back of common decency. Who best to serve and protect is a police chief willing to support but also discipline his troops
As a medical doctor, I can also say we are often judged on our worst day if a day comes when WE cause bodily harm to a patient. Thankfully, no such day has come to me, but I’m always hyperaware it could if I ever go in less than 100% mentally present (and emotionally calm for that matter-many mistakes are caused by fatigue, distraction, or being emotionally unsteady/nervous/anxious/outside issues interfering with work).
Unfortunately, none of these possibilities relate to former Officer Chauvin.
Better stay home on a bad day.
When your worst day includes a wrongful death, perhaps another line of work would be best.
I think Former Officer Chauvin’s response to George Floyd’s worst day has severely narrowed his second career options…

The flip test can be useful. If George Floyd was white and the officers were black would this have happened or been seen the same? Is there any evidence that George Floyd even knew the bill he had was a forgery?
None of these officers gets a “Hats off!!” All of them should face the same disdain as Chauvin. The fact that you all are talking about, ” The Blue Wall” is being broken is sad!! This anders me Becka what happened to George had hairbrush 1000000 times to Black Men and those same people criticizing Chauvin support one another doing that crap, which is why Chauvin was so area arrogant in what he did while the camera was rolling. Chauvin knew that nothing would happen from the department, yet he didn’t undertake the magnitude of all people coming together
after the defense attorney takes over the questioning , how come he is so slow with the first question and further questions , id convict just on that
the chief was honest, that is the kind of police we want, race does not matter, honesty does.

Chauvin needs to let someone his weight kneel on his neck for 10 minutes, while handcuffed, and 2 others on his back and they survive to prove his point that it was the drugs, not his actions the killed Floyd.
