I was thinking of the Constitution of USA weaknesses. How easy it is for abuse of power to go on without any proper check and balance. The Congress had been neutralised by corruption via legal donors. The Judiciary’s branch is being shaped accordingly. If the senate chamber let him (trump) off, a precedent would be set, which further weakens the congress power to check the executive branch.
Edit: If that happens….external interference cannot be stopped?
