@Captain Harris I think another element was that T**** was not part of the political elites or establishment, plus was (allegedly) rich. As such, he could not ‘be bought’ by big business of Wall st, so was working for Main Street not Wall Street.
He allowed those with racist, homophobic, sexist tendencies to feel empowered, and they thought it was was okay to stop hiding. The positive is that we better know these people are, and know not to work with them if these are traits they do not appreciate are not good for a positive, forward thinking country.
