The good news is this – That guy and the new guy don’t work for the President, they work for Congress. The current SaA has the same police power as the Chief of the USCP. They have jurisdiction over 200 square blocks surrounding Congress – the fly in the ointment is the DC Guard withh 14 days to expiration. I won’t go into details but the DC guard can’t just fall in behind the USCP with a sitting president and that means the 82nd Airborne won’t necessarily hang back to defend the DC Zone from invaders while the USCP and DC Guard mop up the melee. It’s going to spill over if it goes off and that’s not a coincidence
