Glad to see the community coming together during this disaster.
Well then. Good luck Mr. Mayor. You better get to it before Port Maria is completely flooded out.
Without vision the people perish. After so many years of running up and down behind politicians and political parties these people didn’t seek to rectify this flooding issue..
Nigha with the jet skii having a field day
Our Jamaican are very innovative people. We have a survival instinct we only need to obey & seek God and we shall live
The wicked that one in Jamaica from the bigger heads trust me oh ,no what’s going on that is a part of God of work π
TOO MUCH WICKEDNESS
Government to build good, proper infrastructure
So it’s been going “every two years” … what? Keep waiting and watching? More detailed assessment right there. π
Hope the Government will move quickly really serious
Itβs about time you all in power stop talking and do. Fix the problem now.
The sea wants to take its place
The Mayor a WASTE of time only talking NO action.
Well said
The jet ski threw me off π. This is a serious situation with the drainage system.
Lucea will be next
Too much wicked people…God vex
Remember God promised never to destroy using flood again. Low-lying area, lots of rain & no proper draining are the cause.
1. ANY DRAINAGE PLAN IS BETTER THAN NO DRAINAGE PLAN!
2. What more “Detailed Assessment” do you need? Sounds like a cash grab to me…
They must build the sea walls higher.
NO PROPER DRAINAGE ππΏYup the mining and highways,,, water have nowhere to goβ¦..

Keep your environment clean. Stop dumping your trash just about any and everywhere.
Take heed, the rains will become more frequent and more severe. This is a sign of global warming or climate chaos. This situation is not unique to Jamaica. Climate crisis must be taken seriously. Coastal communities are vulnerable. Seawall is only a temporary fix.
