  1. If she gets put on the court….are her decisions going to be as EVASIVE as her answers here? If that’s the case then she gets the ……JOHN MCCAIN 👎👎👎👎👎👎

    1. @Rhythmist I agree thats how judges must be. They are not policy maker. Its congress job. We elect the people who represents us in congress.

    1. No, it doesn’t. The majority of the current conservative Supreme Court Justices have already declared that striking down one part of the ACA does not render the entire law invalid. This is contrary to the Trump administration’s position … So you can stop catastrophizing.

    2. I know we have an lot instake I’m not an REPLUBLICAN BUT she has expressed me TOO, but I’m not going to let that lead me, because anyone can say whatever they thinks people wants to hear and with her qualifications I’m not sure if she using that right now as speaking like a judge so I’m not going to let that you know leave me I’m going to follow my heart and my Bible following people so far has gotten us pretty messed up sorry.

    3. FYI to all the LIARS and wannabe lawyers: IF they repeal and replace the ILLEGAL ACA, whatever it is replaced with WILL cover preexisting conditions, PERIOD!!! Why LIE?? Virtually every member of Congress is on record saying so. Do you actually believe that People in Congress would take an action that would virtually guarantee they get voted out OR do you just HATE Republicans that much?? If so, that is very ‘loving and tolerant’!

  2. Friendly reminder that the individual mandate had widespread GOP support when it was part of Mitt Romney’s plan for the state of Massachusetts

    1. Support doesn’t effect constitutionality. Hence the individual mandate can be struck down but the affordable care act still upheld minus the individual mandate

    2. @Mike just pointing out the fact that it’s constitutionality has only come under question, due to the flip-flop in GOP support. The constitutionality of the individual mandate of Romney’s Patient Protection Act (Romneycare) was never brought into question.

The GOP couldn’t garner the support it needed in Congress, even from fellow key party members, to outright repeal the Affordable Care Act, so now the strategy is to sway the courts to declare it unconstitutional.

    3. @Richard P regardless of how it got there if it is a violation of our rights it ought to be overturned. Why is that a partisan issue? The role of the court is to settle these kind of disputes.

    4. Thanks! I still haven’t forgotten Romney’s comment that “they feel entitled to healthcare, food, jobs, etc.” The “they” he was talking about was us (the Average American). Screw him. And screw the GOP.

  3. Open Pandora’s Box and allow self pardoning and no one will ever be safe again.
It’s just plain wrong! If you can’t see this by now there is no hope for you. Morons!

  4. If Feinstein was not being sarcastic, she will still not vote to confirm Barrett because she knows she would be ostracized from the Democrat party.

  5. Chinese state-owned securities conglomerate singled out Joe Biden for praise as a “rare candidate” who supports trade policies favorable to the country’s Communist government, according to a translated copy of a company research report obtained by the Washington Free Beacon

  6. FROM THE 🇬🇧 IF I COULD ASK A SIMPLE QUESTION
    WHY ARE YOUR JUDGES
    FOR THE SUPREME COURT
NOT SELECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT BODY ?🤔

    1. From the 🇺🇸 … what does it mean to have an independent body? Our political system is designed to already have a separation of power and checks and balances. The president elected by the people nominates a candidate they see fit. They are than checked, interviewed and voted into the court by a separate body ( senate – also voted into office by the people). Both bodies also have revolving elections that are offset by years and terms of service. The justice is than confirmed for life and not susceptible to bribery and political threats.
Any external body you deem independent would still be susceptible to the same schemes. The senate and presidency serve as two independent bodies. Our laws are written the same way but in reverse. By the senate confirmed by the presidency

    2. Wanted to add that the third branch (courts) are then the means of resolution between the other two bodies and the people. The Congress and presidency both look to the courts for disputes as they both had equal and a representation in electing its members.

  7. America is

    23 in education.
    37 in healthcare.
    34 in raising family index.
    No high-speed train.
    Highest number of homeless people.
    Highest number of incarcerated people.
78% of people live paycheck to paycheck.

Stock market is not economy of Americans! Where 90% of money belongs to top 10% of the population, it’s wallet for the rich.

Let’s talk like adults, instead of name calling.

I have left the proof on my playlist, if you would like to check!

Let’s make our country better together. .

  8. The great one is having a town hall on NBC, Wednesday. It’s all about the ratings for this clown. Ytube will have it, don’t give him the satisfaction(ratings), find something better to do..

  9. SAD THING THE PEOPLE WILL NEVER HAVE A VOICE ON THIS! THE 1ST TIME I SAW HERE WAS AT TRUMP COVID LAWN PARTY! HER KIDS WERE SITTING NEXT TO INFECTED TRUMP’S AND STAFF! AND I FEEL SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE A BETTER DECISION FOR HER KIDS!

  10. In a game of Janga, there are vastly more opportunities to cause the tower to fall than to leave it standing. Similarly, there are an infinite number of ways to subvert the law…

  11. The comment sections on MSNBC vs Fox news just show me how different people in the United States are now. There is so little middle ground left…what a shame.

    1. I agree. There’s no room for compromise any more. It seems people will support a candidate only because they despise the opposing side. The ideologues from both sides are to blame for this. Instead of listening to facts now everyone would rather be in their comfort zones.

  12. Whatever happens just remember Ginsburg could have left when obama was in but she refused so its only karma that her seat should be flipped lol and the dems have no way to stop this not one.

  13. What bothers me about Amy Coney Barrett is the question of her personal ethics and integrity in accepting this position in an obvious power grab against stated principles and norms of Senate and Presidency, and in definance of the will of the American people in overwhelmingly supporting health care and a woman’s right to control her own body. How can she in in good conscience accept to be an accomplice in such a flagrant violation of the principles of democracy? That, to me, says a great deal about her. She is there for the remainder of her life. . . and she lacks personal integrity.
