Launch an immediate mass education and awareness programme in your local schools, and within the communities in Jamaica about the impacts of Domestic violence. Educate the youth and adults. Organise a police unit force, a counselling service or agency that deals with individuals that are experiencing abuse. Educate people about the different forms of abuse and signs to look out for. Set up mental health and counselling services. If possible organisation or fund a charity that helps to shelter and hide victims of abuse. Educate the people of Jamaica about safeguarding of vulnerable children and young adults. Use the media and television advertising to push the campaign against violence. Push for a whistle blowing throughout the community and work forces and promote zero tolerance attitude towards domestic violence. Encourage parents to speak to their children about the impacts of Domestic abuse and the red flags to look out for. Introduce a new governmental reform on the laws and justice system on Domestic abuse. Increase the penalty.
