@General Awareness I like your approach, but the problem is the left and right in this country are so diametrically opposed to one another that we could never work together as a team. Im a constitutional conservative libertarian so im clearly biased in saying that on the American right we support limited government, federalism, the rule of law, free market capitalism, and the right to live your life as long as yoh dont violate the constitutional & God given rights of others. Think classical liberal.
The left has become a hodgepodge of Anarchists, Marxists, Islamists, ect all of which oppose Western law. They beleieve in a massive welfare state, government run industry, medicine, and education. They also generally oppose the constitution. They also implement identity politics and a social heirarchy based on skin color, gender, and sexual orientation rather than character and actions of the person.
Based on my viewpoints I literally cannot come together with people who hate my country, claim that me as a white person am automatically racist, that as a male am sexist, and as a Christian hate everyone who isnt Christian. How can I “work together” with people that have that sort of world view.

Look at the flu we have 4 Influenza types and many mutations so we come in contact with different serotypes all the time and yet many of us dont get the flu. What we know now is that we are obtaining long term immunity to Covid19 pretty much the same thing with the first version SARS Cov which gave us T helper cell immunity for up to 17 years and antibodies for up to 3 years eradicating that disease. Covid19 is 79% identical to SARS Cov and the only real difference is in the spike protein.

I find it amazing how so many are living in fear and yet Ive never stopped living my life and I havnt been sick in almost 20 years funny how that is. @King Slechtvalk I have family that live hundreds of miles away in a relatively sparsely populated area. They have had next to no contact with the virus just like you. They have be able to live relatively normal lives in spite of what is going on elsewhere They haven’t had a case in their area for weeks now. They still wear masks indoors and all the rest of it, in spite of that and rightly so.
Lets not forget that it only took one case to start this whole thing off in the first place. That grew to millions very quickly. It happened once and with so many that still have it, the potential for it to spread there or to your area has increased dramatically since then. Feeling invulnerable is probably not the right emotion you should be feeling at this time.
