That’s like saying Americans believe Reaganomics is paying off, some do, the ones that profit off of it, the other 60 or so percent of us wants a better life than working our butts off, just to pay bills, wishing we could retire one day while hoping we don’t get sick or in an accident, all while enriching a system that won’t even pay a livable wage or provide affordable healthcare without force, BUT instead explicitly serves the wealthy and their interest and gives them our money during a self imposed crisis while we get to go hungry and/or homeless.
Over 60% of the country will not be able to care for themselves in their elder years, and that was pre covid. Conservatives answer is personal responsibility and savings, but that doesn’t work when you only have $20 at the end of the week after paying only necessities, and if everyone gets better jobs then there is no one left to do the grunt work.
Liberals want redistribution and handouts on the backs of the rich…..both are thieves, it’s the repubs that keep giving trillions of tax money to the corporations/billionaires for bailouts.
We the people want to EARN a living wage, have opportunities, and be left the F alone….. not watch our bosses grow extremely weathly off our labor while we go without and have to budget for food with politicians trying to push us into the ideological ways they want us to be, micro managing everything without actually accomplishing anything. We the people hate all of the political BS and rhetoric that goes around to keep everyone arguing and keeps anything from being done unless it’s for ideology, screw ideology.
Dem and Repub doesn’t matter, it comes down to life never getting better for around half the country and in some place/demographics, it’s getting much worse. Floyd was the straw that broke the camel’s back, the obvious case of overt injustice and inequality we were all waiting for that is serving as the rallying call for a real, no partisan political BS, revolution.
If our leaders, all of them – any of them, do not pull their heads out of their butts and figure out what’s actually wrong, this country will burn. If they try to stop it by force it will become a war. Some one with the ability to do something better start listening because literally everything that has been done so far is only making it worse.
@The Verdant white people were protesting lockdowns because it was unnecessary. The demographic that had the highest death rate and was most venerable was elderly in NY, who had the government of NY Cuomo and deblasio who put c 19 infected patients in nursing homes with the most susceptible members of our society and the outcomes were fatal . That’s why white people along with non whites were protesting a government run by people who were causing death and trying to implore others to now heed their incompetent advice . And then started using the virus as a political weapon.
I grew up in poor sections on Miami and west palm beach. I now live in another city next to a housing authority. And ots always the nice cars pulling up and people with fresh new clothes looking to get a hand out so every dollar they get is disposable income.
And if you look at the white people holding fire arms at the protests for Coronavirus. You tell me the destruction by beatings or looting that they caused.
Its not all economical , because if it was I should run around destroying everything in my path. But u have better behavioral patterns and cultural embraces then that bootlicker.

@Jess sum to think about that’s horrible what happened to you and maybe it was because of racism I don’t know your story completely but I can tell you there are similar stories that have happened to white people, my neighbor is black his kid is the same age as mine, we both work at the same place so we have the same amount of money and his kid gets way more in scholarships just because of color also he’s a great kid as is mine. I’m no more privileged than he is, this is a result of making laws based on race. Far back as 2001 I saw a country I didn’t recognize. Back in early 1970s the Powell memorandum started the evil trajectory we have followed. The Robber barons hated resented the New Deal from the time it was implemented and after Johnson’s great society, they developed a strategy to bring back laissez faire capitalism. The decendents of the robber barons are in full effect, they brought us Reagan, Bush, Trump, and a society comparable to that of Charles Dickens England. Kathy Burns an important thing to consider is that, murdered or not, excessively and forcefully acting against human beings on behalf of law-enforcement can be a very severe thing to endure, because we entrust law-enforcement with so much power on behalf of society, the suffering that humans endure can be more distressing… I mean, automatically, these officers are given all of your personal information, they know where you live, they are in the power position and it is very difficult for the average citizen to defend themselves against the bolstered power of the establishment.
