    1. That’s fine for a critical thinker, but what about the people that can’t tell the truth from an obviously blatant lie. Personally I wouldn’t mind if they made political ads illegal. We could make our political decisions by watching or attending town-halls, rallies and debates. It would level the playing field and take some of the money out of politics.

    2. @Melodye Kurtz I think it would be better for us to listen to the candidates themselves, rather then what other people say about them.

    3. @Phatkillz That is why I go to their websites. That alone is, of course, not enough. News people often reword things so I go the source whenever possible to get exact statements and the context of the statement. Then there are some who have a long time in the public eye and are easier to research.

    4. For the poster who thought I should use FaceBook for my voting decisions….. I have better sources for that. FaceBook is for news from family and close friends for me.

    1. Twitterā€™s, ā€œreach,ā€ is a red herring. Itā€™s a question of assessing the effect that Propaganda has on the, ā€œindividual,ā€ and applying that conclusion, and subsequent judgment (legislation) to all cases. If you cannot find a, ā€œone size fits all,ā€ solution, to a single hypothetical, you canā€™t legislate. In this case, it should be quite simple, though. Consider what happened to Propagandists, who betrayed the free world, their home countries, and were then caught and brought to justice, after WW II? They weā€™re imprisoned or executed. And, we still had Free Speech, after the fact. And, yes . . . Iā€™m looking at Fox

    2. @Ash RoskellThat is because you are not an American. So let me give you a lesson in American history. During the “War for Independence” a mad King sat on the throne of England, King George III. Did not listen to the concerns of his people, like you he thought he could do what every he wanted, you see that your human nature you just can’t help yourself. And so he tried first to destroy the economy of American by flooding it with cheap molasses. When that didn’t work he gave a massive “Tax cut” to East India company of Britain to flood American with cheap tea. Hence the the American Revolution rallying cry “no taxation with representation”.

    3. @Ash Roskell But that wasn’t enough, King George III launched the largest army American had every seen. And they raped, murder, robbed, and pillage rebels and loyalist alike. Then to add insult to injury, British warships started to bombard American coastal towns irregardless if they had revolutionary soldiers within or not. The American town of Falmouth was reduced to ash their were only women and children in that town.

    4. @Ash Roskell After the war the Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and George Washington knew that a day would come when men like you come again. To guard against that day, they created the US Bill of Rights. This is sometimes called a negative bill of rights. It restrains the government for abusing it citizens because human nature is one of genocide. That is why it sometimes also call “bill of regulations” because it prevents the government form infringing on your individual rights, the right life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

    5. @Ash Roskell True “Libertarian” want more regulation not less. It was Republican “Libertarians” of 1920 that broke up “Standard Oil” because they were choking out all competition in the market place. Back then “Libertarians” were a lot smarter. Rand Paul is dumb as they as fence post. That guy thinks you should pay for public parks. LOL ahahhaahahaha šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

    1. Well, if you’ve gathered a solid subset of years on that behind of yours, or find interest and education in history and aging fiction (or both) – then that’s really not a surprise. The extent to which our contemporary reality has for the last 5-6 years rapidly evolved towards the likness of aging fiction depictions of future dystopias – is severely alarming.

We’re not powerless to do something about it though. In fact, most of these developments are predicated and fuels by our individual _choosing_ to *_not_* dealing with it. Things may seem so massive, so abstract – _”how could we ever have an impact so why bother.”_ But even megacorporations need to sell their products. And while many governments may appear to not be all that much “for the people” these days, they are still *_of_*_ the people._ And the people is no more, no less, than a large quantity of individuals. Nothing in this world gets done, unless individuals do them. We might think “I’m just one guy/gal, I have no power to do, to change”. That is utterly wrong. _You have _*_all_*_ the power for that._

    1. @Hildebeast Clinton that’s total BS Comrade, the Prosecutor wasn’t investigating anyone at all at that time.. Nice try though..

    1. Previous month I managed to pull my first five figure wage ever!!! I’ve been working for this company on the internet for twenty four months now and I never been happier… They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing about it is the fact I am not really that tech-savvy, they just required standard knowledge of internet and common typing skill…The best thing about this gig is that I have more free time with my kids. I am in a position to commit quality time with my friends and family and look after my children and also going on holiday with them very often. Don’t ignore this chance and make sure to react fast. Hereā€™s what I do *worth48Ā.ĀcĀoĀm*
