we’ve been voting by mail here in Oregon since the Reagan Administration it saves a state taxpayers millions of dollars every year it’s unhackable it’s not connected to the internet in any way everybody gets to vote from the elderly and disabled who have a hard time making it to polls should everybody who likes to sit down and take their time going through each issue it’s so much easier to do than in a booth . the only reason people don’t want vote-by-mail because they don’t want the Americans voice to be heard they know more people will vote and they know that they will lose if more people vote

The Democrats will never introduce the Colorado mail in ballot tracking system, because citizens have to go in person to register as a US citizen to vote with suitable ID, and proof of residency, that information is needed to check if they’re eligible to vote and if they’re valid, there mail in ballot is processed for a tracking number. Only 3 states have the mail in ballot tracking system, Colorado’s is 6 years old.
The Democrats never said anything about funding or training to introduce a mail in ballot tracking system in a 4 month time frame?
Washington has been doing this for decades as well

@patrick kirkland Studies have shown vote-by-mail actually increases the percentage of registered Republicans participating in an election. The fact that Repubs are still against it, despite this evidence, is just more illustration of how stupid they really are. And, Washington State has a Democrat governmental majority because it has a Democrat population majority. There’s this thing called demographics. You should look into it. Because the Colorado mail in ballot tracking system needs you to register to it first, similar to how you apply for the absentee ballot, for a Social Security card or Drivers License, you need to show ID and forms showing your residency address, to be processed that you’re eligible to vote first, before your mail in ballot is entered into the tracking system first.
California and New York don’t have the money or the time to train people to install the system that Colorado has had for 6 years…

Traceable is good because here in Colorado I can go to the elections website and track my ballot and be reassured that its not sitting somewhere stashed in a post office warehouse like what happens in Florida to absentee ballots. Honesty the GOP in Texas are scared of the Colorado model because minority and poor Texas will have more of a say. It should be illegal to deny a citizen a ballot to vote in any form. And Election Day should be a holiday.

@Scurra The Heritage Foundation includes the nine cases in Michigan from a local election in Michigan in which people were registered to vote in a district other than the one they lived in. It had nothing to do with their own attempts at fraud, but that the city of Ann Arbor and the township it resides in had split up jurisdictions so badly no one, not even the the local city/township clerks could figure it out. It only came to light because of a tie vote for a city seat. The case got some voters thrown in jail because they refused to divulge their votes to a judge. The judge ultimately was sentenced to do time for his abuse of power.
