The number of deaths has continued to fall at a steady rate since the end of April. We’re currently at 28% of the the peak. By any logical measure, that’s a major improvement. CNN is just hyping up scary-sounding numbers.

While that may be the case, some of these numbers are given by the WHO and the CDC, so this is not entirely fake news either.
