Santos is writing a new book about the time he was involved in a plane crash in the Andes when he had to eat his entire volley ball team to survive. As a result of the plane crash both legs were broken and he performed surgery on both of his own knees using bits and pieces twisted wreckage. This was achieved using the vast knowledge he gained at Harvard. When he was rescued he had to go on a weight loss program and he started Jenny Craig, in the name of a distance relative who survived the holocaust (Craig is his grand mothers maiden name). Its all being documented in the new book called “The Art Of Surviving Plane Crashes & Weight Loss” through the publishing house of Donald Trump Junior. It has been nominated for a Pulitzer and Hollywood are making a movie and discussions are underway with Leo De Caprio who’s reported to be gaining weight for the role.

If you watch the video of the roll call for Speaker at one point he didn’t hear his own name being called, George Santos, because he was having a conversation with someone and his brain didn’t recognize that name.
Right? People were joking that obviously that meant George Santos wasn’t his real name…and now this. 😂

To be fair, maybe he put off his vote on purpose like some of them were doing because they wanted to see how others would vote first, but who knows. Either is just as probable.
I clearly remember when that happened and the commentators made a joke about it .

I think Gregory Morey-Parker may have hit the nutty nail on the head here: Santos is delusional.
I hadn’t heard about him flashing money then having no money (till the next paycheck or scam).
That and the:

exchange, if true, just shows how far from maintainable reality the guy is. Maybe he’s just never been held accountable for anything, he never learned what responsibility even meant (sheltered boy?), and he’s still clueless about what’s really going on.
It’s as if we’re watching Santos “learn the hard way” that you can’t keep lying, stealing, and screwing people over without one day suffering the consequences.
He’s similar to Donald Trump in both regards, irresponsible and (at times) delusional (and winning an election will end up being the worst thing that ever happened to both). @Greg Conquest – gc From what I read, Fred Trump was a real POS that could never be pleased… Enough to where most of his kids rejected him while Donald tried to gain his love/acceptance. That IMO is what created the Sociopath Trump is today, someone who HAS to lie to be loved because no other way works. For example – I always picture Trump saying “dad” before he rehearses his usual lies – like, dad “it’s the greatest deal ever, everyone’s talking about it, and others are saying these great things about me!”…
Trump’s lies are about things you can’t prove at the moment or are easily debated as “not a lie” by him even when they are. (He never lies about family because they would know right away, he has SOME conscience IMO).
With Santos, most of his lies are things EASILY debunked, he has no comprehension of reality or fear of consequences (a Psychopath). He will say he came from money, his mom died on 9/11, his grandparent’s holocaust survivors, higher education, etc. KNOWING his family knows that isn’t true and that others can easily find out and he can’t deny it – but he doesn’t care!!! – he just moves on with more lies, thinks “so what?”, and is even shocked people care.
My understanding –
Both are A LOT alike –
Sociopaths, have a conscience – but ignore it out of spite – so they use lies, cheat, and hurt people to succeed… You can corner them in a lie and get them to break from it – but they will be using lies/anger to combat you all the way making it VERY difficult.
Psychopaths, have no conscience so lying, cheating, hurting people, etc for their benefit is the “smart” option. If you corner them in a lie, LOOK OUT… They will think you are disgusting, the problem with this world, and must be stopped. Prison is the only thing regulating them from killing everyone in their way.
Both think the judicial system is the enemy.
Plus, sociopaths are confused by the reactions of others to their lies, which they rarely anticipate properly. They think they have the world figured out and can manipulate anyone, but that’s only bc they have no clue how normal ppl think.
I think media should start calling him “John Doe” until ascertaining his real, actual name. 😟

I wouldn’t read too much into this particular thing about the name. His full name is George Anthony Devolder Santos. His parents are from Brazil. In Brazil and Portugal, people have 2 surnames. The first one (Devolder in this case) is the mother’s paternal surname. The second one (Santos in this case) is the father’s paternal surname. Most people in Brazil and Portugal would just use their first given name, and the second surname (the father’s) on a regular basis. The 2 surnames are normally just used when you’re required to give your full name. It’s the same as in Hispanic names, just the order of the surnames is different. In the case of George Santos, he did what many immigrants do when they go to the USA or other non-Spanish or non-Portuguese speaking countries: they start using a surname that sounds less foreign in the ears of the dominant population. In this case, Devolder. But it’s still his surname. Unlike his other lies, his decision of going by the name of Anthony Devolder is perfectly acceptable and legit.
If anyone asks him why he stole his roommate’s scarf, he will most likely deny stealing it and say he just borrowed it but forgot to return it, then forgot about it.
