  1. I have visual snow. It isn’t terribly uncommon, but catastrophizing about it to the extent Bryan did is. He seems to see the world as a dark, evil place focused on tormenting him specifically.

    1. @Tele Bubba iv had tinnitus since 2003 in my good ear,my left ear is completely deaf,I also lost the vision in my left eye.
I can barely see,ear drives me nuts sometimes but you know what none of what iv suffered in any way would even justify me being rude to someone never mind murder.
None of what we know he “suffered” is any way a path to the evil he apparently committed.

  2. I can’t understand why we are focusing so much on the accused killer, why have we not heard this much coverage about the life of the actual victims? I know there has been some, but not to this magnitude

    1. What? What’s the point about hearing about the lives of the victims? Who cares! Unless you’re saying that their lifestyle somewhat brought their demise? (It didn’t, and I know you’re not saying that.)
What’s important is to try to understand the killer, not the victims.

  3. It’s actually very sad that people like him don’t have treatment options or do they? It is extremely sad and more devastating that people with these problems are out in the world and able to destroy other peoples lives.
What can we do as a society to stop this and get people the right help? Institutions? Psychological testing costs a fortune and there is a waiting list a mile long from my experience w one of my kids who has anxiety issues. And that’s pretty basic compared to a person like this.
Idk but it scares the hell out of me for the family’s w kids like this and even more for their potential or current victims.

    1. @OG13 Absolutely agree, governments will always find money to spend on war but when it comes to investing in the mental health of its own citizens its truly appalling how little funding or emphasis gets put on it.

    2. And the nut doesn’t fall far from the (family) tree. Enough said.
Public opinion is blasphemy against the legal process of justice. Let the courts decide.

    3. @Drais Bike Werks Studio family tree?? Do u know anything about this kid? Obviously u don’t. Let the courts decide no …. Don’t let them decide how about u decide because your obviously an idiot.

  4. Isn’t this perhaps a case where, due to his own lack emotion, he envied youngsters who did have a fun life, who exhibited pleasure in others’ company and who were part of a social circle?
Plain old envy and revenge for what he did not have. He seems to have been stewing for years.

    1. Yes- and we have always had these awkward misfits losers but now with Instagram & other social media, young fools post about what FUN they are all having and the losers get mad.

    2. I think its not so much of envy or having any personal vendetta againsts the victims but more of him picking the easiest targets – the weakest, most vulnerables, reckless and security lax to fulfill his sick fantasy or criminology experiment or the urgent need to ‘feel something’ since he lacks any kind of emotion. 🤷

  5. Depersonalization and derealization are rarely the focus of clinical or psychiatric attention. I have known several people who experience these things. It appears to be very frightening for people when it first starts happening, and it can become part of a delusional worldview in which the entire world itself is seen as false or fake. He had a wide range of psychiatric symptoms that are concerning.

    1. @Deborah Mulkey His problem is spiritual in nature, not psychiatric! He became demonized somewhere long the way. He CHOSE to do evil and planned to murder innocent victims. He should pay the price with the death penalty! EVERYTHING points to the fact that he knew exactly what he wss doing!

    2. @Hasheem Adamson yes & read the book of Ecclesiastes too! Solomon wrote that too! I don’t think unbelievers will understand the book of Song of Solomon & many will mis interpt it. I recommend reading the gospels. Matthew, Mark, Luke & John

    3. He complains about having visual snow symptoms on some forum (just saw that yesterday). That can be seriously debilitating in some cases.

  6. Thank you for this very interesting discussion. It’s good to hear analysis about this awful case without the gossipy speculation so common in online comments.

  7. State of Calif gave my son therapy starting about 10th grade. He is married and a good father now. They flagged him as 80% chance of developing alcohol problems, (also drugs) due to the frequency of those problems in our family. Between the state, (They got involved ), and my threats, he turned out well.

  8. The “life is like a video game” sounds like disassociative disorder. You look in the mirror and sort of don’t recognize the person looking back.

  9. We can all say that he’s presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but really believe he is GUILTY, well, because he is. His lawyers need to convince him that he has no chance of getting out of this and plea him out for life in prison with no chance of parole. Is there anyone who can’t see the connections and believes a jury would actually acquit?

  10. The scary part is there’s probably a lot of people who are pretty heartless and hopeless, ticking time bombs waiting to go off.

  11. I am interested to know if any criminals actually responded to his questions. I am so sad for these victims, they died in such a horrific way. 😥

  12. This dude is so complex, so sad inside I can’t help thinking that maybe he will sometime in his life, allow a professional to examine and test him. It would seem investigating this man’s thoughts, his dreams, his feelings or lack of, may assist in learning concerning the future. Somewhere out there a young man may be experiencing the same.
Is it known if this suspect experienced abuse, or had any type of counseling as a young person?

    1. Iv no doubt he will have some commonalities with other killers of his type, completely lacking empathy, narcissistic, sociopathic, vengeful, mabye suffered head injury in childhood, cruelty to animals.
The signs are usually there but it’s whether anyone around him either cared or knew what those indicators could lead to.
Even if he did submit to psych evaluations etc he’d no doubt be trying to outsmart the Doctor, not entering into it in good faith tho a lot of killers do enjoy the attention that comes with such high profile crimes sadly.
