  1. My word has come to pass,I have already stated in previous comments that this state of emergency were not going to bring downd the gun crimes rate in the country, the emergency time period was much too short in order for this to work. What needs to be done is a total of two months of reigerious law and order inforcement through the affected area of the country and law inforcers should be given unlimited powers within the law to deal with the situation.

  2. When I was growing we planted corn and potatoes! The dry corn was grounded and feed to chickens and potatoes that were not too good was cooked with breadfruit that fall off the trees and banana peels and given to the pigs! However Jamaica does not farm like that anymore!

    1. That’s what my grandmother fed her fowls on, the red corn. I would love to get a corn like that to eat when I visit Jamaica, when Jamaica was rich and prosperous the hair if corns were fat and healthy, the chickens were fat, the cockerels large and meaty. The Asham was gorgeous.๐Ÿ˜˜

    2. Cannot simple FARM ANY LONGER Genetic modification of feed and fertilizer and Quick becoming a Millionaire is new way of life..no education and job people have MORE than educated hard WORKING..

    3. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  3. The feed prices now has gone up,so that chicken and pork prices will also go up! The poor and less fortunate will continue to suffer in Jamaica while the rich and politicians keeps robbing Jamaica!

  4. Don’t take down the heritage. Secure the structure. You must conserve history. Pin the structure and make it safe.

  5. We the Jamaican citizens clearly see that the government donโ€™t care a bout our constitutional rights period because from 2017 till now on soon 2023 the government donโ€™t take a way we rights with state a mergence sad

    1. Thatโ€™s not how a government of a country use SOS from 2017 till now Iโ€™m poor so Iโ€™m afraid of get caught up in it because i see a lot a poor people mostly young men detained not good . We have watch who we vote for .

    2. @big spender if these so-called young people were obeying the law and fallowing the lawful advise to of the law inforcement agency instead of arguing with them at street canner and a gwan like dem a badman then they wouldn’t have anything to be afraid of.

    3. @big spender why don’t you relax and let the gunmen take over then ,do you think that is going to make you rich???)))

  6. All those food should not spoil the farmer should take them to Kingston Montego Bay to the places where their cell and give it away and leave it in the hands of God why let food spoil and people in Jamaica are hungry and when I say hungry you know what I mean people there would use it think about this while I am out God is not happy to see the food spoil give it away

  7. How the hell did Jamaica reach here, sweet sweet Jamaica just canโ€™t believe whatโ€™s happening, we donโ€™t make guns but the island is loaded with firearms ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Jamaica!! We need to make a u-turn please

    1. Ok let me help you step up your VOCAB. After colored folks got independence, the island of Jamaica went from the lowest murder rate per Capita to where it’s now. Go figure ๐Ÿคก

    2. Anthony burell u-turn back to what? If we as a people have to be afraid of bad men and police . From i was child till today .u-turn to what .lets find a new path were people can be at piece free to walk home at 12am or 1am at night. any place in jamaica and not be afraid of bad man&police

    3. The incompetent Politicians are turning a blind eye ๐Ÿ‘ to the illegal ๐Ÿšซ guns ๐Ÿ”ซ coming into the Country. As a matter of fact, the Politicians are the ones who are importing most of the guns into Jamaica ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ. Plus โž• the Borders are wide open, and the disgusting Government is not doing squat about it. The outgoing British Ambassador said that all the investigating that he did came right back to the Politicians in Jamaica who are responsible for the illegal guns ๐Ÿ”ซ. Not even one of those Politicians disputed it. They are guilty as sin. Jamaican Politicians are the most Corrupted Politicians in the World ๐ŸŒŽ.

  8. Not just for the winter it should be a long term plan too much import for a small country like this that’s why farmers are struggling

  9. If it’s to be regarded as an heritage, then they need to restore its structure! We cannot be destroying all our heritage.
Noticed the clock in Spalding was taken down. Very disappointed because it was a very important landmark in the town! We’re too quick to demolish!!

    1. And they are the ones if they get a chance to travel, want to go to every tourist destination to sightsee overseas.

  10. It is a art of the Jamaican history but they do not seem to repair or maintain anything important in the country. Old churches are left to rot. Tourist are taken to look at these rotten structures. The heritage commission should be finding where these structures or buildings are & maintain them. They can be used for other things too. Such a shame.

  11. Corruption in jamaica is bad. For example bank managers and CEO children are the ones getting the scholarships. The scholarships should go to recipients in the communities. In jamaica 12 and 13 year old children write common entrance test. In canada and American children that age can hardly read and write. What I saying is that jamaica children are very bright but the need support to grow
