Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klobuchar Get Dual New York Times Endorsement | Velshi & Ruhle | MSNBC

  1. This is an incredibly silly move by the NYT. Even if you’re a fan of Warren, these two are pretty extraordinarily dissimilar, in terms of policy and long term goals. So that just shows the NYT does not at all take this seriously.

    1. @The Neiman Channel Hey what’s under your chair?

Nothing because she isn’t going to do a dam thing for you.

    2. Democracy Now Oh good! A Warren supporter. You have to give her Pow Wow Chow recipe a try! It’s delicious!!

    3. What they did was endorse them simply because they are the only two women who are still in the top 5. Pretty silly and not at all helpful.

    4. @The Neiman Channel How is someone polling at 3% nationally, and who is realistically one of the more conservative policy wise the realistic choice? Instead of the progressive leader Bernie Sanders, or Andrew Yang, who Trump voters have already said they would vote for if he got the nomination?

  2. You’re more likely to get an NYT endorsement if you don’t tell them in an interview “Maybe the New York Times has failed them [many people in this country] too.”

    1. As Bernie did, you mean..? His interview with the Times was the best of them all and he definitely called them out during that interview.

    2. @Tessmage Tessera – His interview was an inspiration to listen to. He doesn’t need an endorsement from the NYT, because he’s backed by a movement.

    1. That’s what I really mean. Of course, an individual being a Jew ( by name, birth, nominally, etc) does not make one automatically a Zionist as well. Many Jews are wholly against the idea of izrahell. Many non-Jews are in fact Zionist. But here, when throwing around the “Joow” label with regards to big corporate media conglomurates, policies, et, it (typically) implies Zionist , almost interchangebally . And rightfully so.

    2. @Prince Pouncer You’re right. Trumpty Dumbty (Donald J. Trump) is the most famous example of a “non-Jew” Zionist.

Edit: And now that NYT has endorsed Klobuchar, I assume that she is Zionist. She became my second choice when I flushed Warren down the toilet after the last debate. Now Klobuchar has flushed into my septic tank and is swimming around with Warren. Good riddance!

    3. @Pam Schobelock Don’t know how you got that from my comments, but so you know, I have absolutely NOTHING against Jews and I am Bernie Sanders’ number one fan! #BernieSanders2020

    4. The people working at the NYT are some of the most arrogant and elitist people out there. They see themselves as moral paragons and look down upon the rest of America from their ivory tower. Now they’re failing miserably and have had financial problems and have had to lay off staff already… how the tides have turned.

  3. I have never heard anything so stupid as endorsing two candidates who are competing against each other for one position. And they don’t even agree on, for example, the top issue of healthcare.

    1. @siriuslyspeaking Bernie’s been called a radical, a socialist, a commie – you name it. But in Europe, where the standard of living is much higher, he’s just a middle of the road politician. Wake up America.

    1. dan junk LMAO you know you gotta throw the towel when one of the fake news networks endorses your campaign. The mark of a corrupt candidate.

  4. Who cares if The NY Times doesn’t support Medicare for All. The American people need affordable healthcare!

    1. @Smallie Biggs The taxes that are funding wars all over the world would be better spent saving Americans lives with affordable healthcare.

    2. @Lain Thats how we all should be. I don’t want my fellow Americans dying from lack of healthcare or going bankrupt. Everyone’s lives matter, not just those who can afford healthcare.

  5. and they count for what? BS?

Just as the candidates they picked, they’re absolutely useless and unproductive.

    1. Ford Bronco How come men who do the same thing are not called out as much as women ? Sounds like sexism. Why not focus on Amy Klobuchar’s policies ?

  6. Honestly, NYT keeps shooting themselves in the foot. They’re basically saying, “we’re going to endorse 2 candidates who will definitely lose to Trump.”

  7. Ahahahahahahaha 🤣

One has 0 chance of winning and the other just torched her image with progressives with bs sexism claims.

That is some champion level endorsements right there.

    1. @Tessmage Tessera just you tube “puerto rico earthquake warehouse found with fema supplies”,…when it takes you to”outrage over supplies from hurricane maria found “,…let me know,…its called research,….its easy,…..try finding the truth,….cause it isnt on mslsd or cnn, by the way,…i have been a dem for over 50 years,…they stole my party

    2. @George Thompson That had nothing to do with Trump. The island had enough emergency supplies, the outrage was because no one distributed those old supplies after the recent earthquake.

  8. what a fence-riding, mealy mouthed choice. the image of the gutless liberal is not helped by this “decision.”

  9. LMAOOOO YOU CANT ENDORSE TWO PEOPLE RUNNING FOR THE SAME SPOT

Seriously how much dumber can msm get

    1. A more important thing to consider is that they DID NOT endorse Joe Biden. Obama hasn;t endorsed Biden, either. In fact, no one of any importance has endorsed Biden.

  10. You’re endorsing someone who knowingly took advantage of the system and lies to try to relate to her potential voters. This is why no one trusts mainstream media
