    1. Indeed . . . malfeasance in plain sight. And Congress fiddles while a once great nation burns. Even as a Brit, it makes my blood boil!

    1. @Clair Duffy what has a senile moron got to do with it? Trump and Brexit aren’t connected unless you’re wearing a tinfoil hat…

    2. Amerika has been a de facto one-party police State for decades. It’s now just formalizing things and making the plutocratic tyranny de jure.

  1. Looks like either Moscow Mitch and/or 45 have agreed now isn’t a good time to have Any oversight over our 2020 elections..

    1. @Barry Suttonliar; the only reason Trump wasn’t indicted was because of the DOJ directive that a sitting president cannot be indicted. .

  2. Just because we don’t see tanks in the streets doesn’t mean we’re not quite literally living in the midst of a genuine coup. We are. It’s a slow-moving coup, done by a combination of attrition, the exhaustion of the public trust, the gradual but methodical removal of political safeguards, the extermination of regulatory oversight, and the hidden rewriting of the rules of political contributions and foreign influence.
This is a coup. The Republican Party cannot hold power or hope to do so– much less survive as a political structure– unless they do this.
And beyond that fact, their intentions of forming a permanent ownership of wealth and political access in the United States– forming a genuine oligarchy– can’t be accomplished except by changing the outcome of any national election. They simply don’t have the numbers.

This is a coup. This is exactly why no one in the Republican Party does anything about Russian cyberwarfare or the vulnerabilities in our election system.

They don’t want to secure fair elections. They need them to be much *less* secure, progressively, so they can steal victory.

And Russia is happy to help.

    1. @Gary Steele You are the water in that analogy. The frog is the collective common sense of people that listen to the media.

    2. @foreigner fan Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo, Obama was the greatest, Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo Cuckoo.

    3. You are, in plain and simple terms . . . absolutely correct. 1930’s Germany anyone? Keep a look out for smoke emanating from the Library of Congress. Säuberung nacht US style! Kristallnacht comes next! The klaxon is sounding and the warning lights are no longer blinking; they are lit permanently . . .

  3. Let the cheating begin. We’ll catch them and sue, then the supreme court will uphold the results. Some things never change and never will.

    1. While I applaud your confidence in our system, I have zero faith in the Trump SCOTUS to do anything but rule in favor of the Republican party no matter what criminal and evil sh*t they do.

    2. @Mainely I meant the court would uphold the results of the election, like when they stole the presidency from Gore. Sorry man, I’ve no confidence in this country, far to many traitors, sell-outs, and anti-constitutionalsts for any hope to hold onto.

  4. Danger! Danger! When our election system is shut down, broken or compromised then we are living in a dictatorship.

    1. Look at how the Nazis took over Germany, and you see precisely how Republicans take over here. No joke, it’s exactly the same and has been happening since the 2000 election.

    2. mike mitchell : You & I are onto something here with the nazi & dictatorship similarities. I presume you are younger than me & I urge you to vote like your life & freedom depend upon it. When I was younger I didn’t often exercise my right to vote but now know how important it is lest it be taken away what I once took for granted. Have a good day & you know what to do come Nov. 2020.

  5. Democracy is dying right under the noses 👃 and faces of those who have fought so hard for, the party of law and order has now become the party of bunch of fools

  6. trump has already said he will accept foreign help and now this. Call your Congress person / Senator this is an emergency.

  7. Trump has succeeded in opening the door for his Puppet Master; Murdering Monster Putin, to insure his re election.
    Trump is Anti American.

    1. That’s whole Russia Russia Russia thing was just a hoax Rachel MadCow pushed for years Promising us everyday for years tomorrow Trump will be taken down

  8. Only months into tbe Trump administration, the White House ethics officer resigned in protest. Now the FEC is being neutered.

  9. Republicans VERY concerned about elections…totally preoccupied with finding ways how to rig them in their favor!

    1. @Sammy Bolo Please provide source to validate. Trumps group invrstigated and verified this is not true.

    2. Sammy Bolo this kid is probably red neck trash you need a psychologist clear this statement is not true
