  1. Mitch McConnell: We can gerrymander the hell out of the Representative races, but we can’t do that with Senate races. We’re working on that problem, though.

    1. @tanya45096 he’s done it to me as well. Many people actually so I catch him when he does. You may not care but many people care about this click baiting crap.

  2. Remember, women and dads are pissed about Roe. We haven’t had such a huge human rights violation re the constitutional backsliding occur in our nation’s history. These 2 men don’t think of this component.

  3. People always forgetting the ungodly level gerrymandering the republicans did. In Ohio the people passed a ballot initiative to end gerrymandering and have portionial seats. Republicans refused to use the map and kept sueing until the clock was run down.

    1. 😂 Trying to gerrymander a proportional result in a FPTP system in the name of anti-gerrymandering 😂 Utter lunacy!

  4. McConnell’s logic is telling. He said the senate races are different because they are statewide. In other words, gerrymandering cannot distort senate races.

    1. @mathiesondl They lost a court case in New York on gerrymandering just 4 months ago. It’s done on both sides, you’re just not looking at your own side.

  5. We desperately need *term limits* and *age restrictions* in Congress, Courts and the House.
Illegal Stock Traders in Congress and House need to be held to the same standard of law as the citizens.

    1. @Appalachian Crochet Designs I understand that. It’s the same way with maximums. But we’re in the yt comments section, if you voice your opinions here you should _expect_ to get opposition.

So yes, either of us can ‘address that issue with local reps’. That much was already given and really didn’t need you repeating it, this is merely the court of public opinion.

    2. @Appalachian Crochet Designs LOL! ‘run along’, ‘I’m muting you’…if you don’t want opposition to your opinions, then don’t voice them.

    3. @Appalachian Crochet Designs So much passive/aggressive in you, look at your previous posts! Get some self-awareness, dude!

    4. @Appalachian Crochet Designs Ok. If you can’t handle citing your own comment, then I can’t take you seriously and is most likely a lie. Enjoy your hate for your elders. This conversation has ended.

    1. You are correct, not sure why the GOP allowed Trump to have so much influence. Their chances of retaining governors in Az, Pa & Ga are also under fire, although at least, in Ga, they did stand by their constitution & didn’t bow to Trump but the anti Trump influence is rising more & more and will impact Ron Johnson & Rubio.
If the GOP doesn’t retain the senate or even the house, goign against history, it is all down to Trump, no one else can take much blame.

  6. I was a “Dogcatcher” for 27 years. 11 as a field officer, 16, as the department manager. Dog catching would be simple if animals were the only client. Unfortunately there is usually an owner or complaintant behind that animal. That is the challenge! ACO’s deal with the same morons cops do!

  7. Mitch McConnell literally blew up his life’s work not dismantling Trump when he had the chance.

    1. Yeah. He was only thinking short term. He should have realized rump would only be in office for so long. Obviously he underestimated the amount of trouble rump would continue to cause for himself, the party AND the nation.
If Mitch thought anyone or group could reign in rump, he was kidding himself.

  8. McConnell – “Senate races are different, they are state wide…” which translated means they can’t gerrymander the seat to their advantage.

    1. We have a noun for people who believe lies readily. They’re called fools. We have one for people who lie. They’re called liars. Vote like a fool, and you’ll be represented by a liar.

  9. *I’m so glad that Mr. Sabato made the distinction of how trump’s dominating the headlines is now hurting the republicans!*

  10. Most those candidates are no smarter than a box full of hair! And what makes it even funnier is that Donald Trump endorsed most of them.

  11. If Democrats could get on top of the messaging for Biden….. its as if the country is all listening to the Rt wing spin about him. He’s doing great but we need to hear from him more often. He needs tohave a savvy PR person put out positive messages from him everyday. US public got used to being tweeted at every hour by last president. Now Im glad Biden is doing more than tweeting & golfing but he needs to have someone communicate for him more

    1. Yep. Not always playing golf on OUR dimes! Not always talking shi* about everyone. NOT always on Twitter. NOT working hard to praise our arch enemies. NOT making fun of crippled people and women! Not always at his summer estate. NOT always watching TV! NOT throwing his Mickey Ds at the White House dining room wall when things don’t go his way.

    2. That’s is the dumbest post I’ve seen yet. Biden has been on vacation for 6 months in one and a half years, and works about two hours a day…Please stop showing your ignorance.

  12. What ideas or solutions are the Republicans offering for them to take either the House or the Senate? How are they helping to solve economic issues?
I see all of the damaging efforts they make (nationwide) but what are the positives that they are presenting for this country?
    🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  13. 0:52 _”Senate races are different, they’re statewide”_

Translation: We can’t gerrymander Senate elections like we can with House elections.

  14. “candidate quality has a lot to do with the outcome” – So McConnell admits the GQP candidates are crap. And here I thought I’d never agree with him on anything! 😁😆🤣😂

    1. Hopefully their poor selection of candidates will hand the D’s victory.
As sad as it is to use that as a reason as how to cast your vote. But that’s the choice they’ve (R’s) left us. Decent repubs have/are leaving office. The few that aren’t, generally stay silent. Sucks.
