I’ve been telling you the Democrat party is now a ‘communist’ party for a long time. 
Those statements seem based on immunity from one variant providing a shield against future variants. It strikes me that with COVID is not supported by its track record as people can become reinfected.

Additionally, worldwide the virus will continue to mutate. At some point in the future, likely fairly soon, international travel will be ahead and there is nothing preventing a new strain from spreading. Look how fast each variant went global. To assume it is the final wave seems overly optimistic.
@Venanzio Calise Wrong. There have been several varients so far. They’ve already identified up to Lamda so far that I know of. That would indicate at least 12? So far Delta seems like the worst, and it’s able to target younger people, including children more easily. How many more varients will spring up because we’ve turned this into a political thing, with unvaccinated people refusing to use masks or social distance. They are listening to people who in many cases have already been vaccinated themselves. The guidelines and information is not changing because professionals are being wishy-washy, but because they are trying to keep a balance between ongoing new science information, the economy vs public safety, low vs high levels in different communities, and pushback and near violence from people who do not have a clue about the actual science around how viruses spread and mutate. At this point I’m really frustrated, and embarrassed to be an American. And yes, I’d leave the US if I had any money.
