Dr. James Hildreth, a member of the FDA's Vaccine Advisory Committee, tells Ali Velshi that to ensure communities of color can access Covid-19 vaccinations, we ought to focus on the "vulnerability index," which accounts for socio-economic factors, such as income and education level, as well as race and ethnicity. Aired on 01/30/2021.

Dr. Hildreth: Gap Of Trust, Supply And Access Causing Racial Disparities In COVID Vaccinations
Floored, and fascinated? Trust gap is real, based on Tuskegee experiments perhaps? But not just with Blacks. Statistics can be used to prove anything. 50% of all MD’s graduated in the lower half of their class.
Look into IVERMECTIN it is a silver bullet to covid 19
I guess Hank Aaron .Cicely Tyson and Cloys Leachman regret getting the shot
They done lethally injected poor Cloris. :[
*Wishing everyone a safe and healthy 2021* ⭐
*fart
The glistening glorious juice obviously guarantee because bass suprisingly joke absent a sedate basket. willing, low pin
So many are not stating the obvious (some are); the reason brown and black people are the most affected by this virus is a Vitamin-D issue. Vitamin-D is HUGE in preventing infection from this disease. The active Vitamin-D in the cell is keeping the spike protein from being able to enter the cell. And dark-skinned people make much less Vitamin-D on their own, and if they aren’t getting more sunlight exposure and/or taking a supplement, then they are more at risk for contacting the infection. And in general there is more sickness in the winter months because there is less sunlight and less Vitamin-D. So they EMPHATICALLY need to be constantly reminding people of this vital fact. Because that is one area where people can actually take action and have control. They are not simply more at risk because of their disposition in life or their financial situation. Vitamin-D is a fulcrum point for this disease.
Thank you for this information on vitamin D.
I stopped listening the moment he said “Latinx”. I hate that fake label. Latinos hate that label. Stop using that label.
I’m a Mexican American and I hate hearing the younger generation use that phrase, they’re teaching it in the schools now, there’s nothing wrong with latino
XXX is much better
I’m just a meaningless straight white male and even I hate that label
Why does the MSM try to make everything about race???
@TRON it’s all in your head
I really believe that racism was gone in the United States, until BLM reared it’s head. They stirred the pot and turned people upon one another. Before long, everyone started walking around saying, “you don’t look like me! You must be a RACIST! A FASCIST! Get him! He doesn’t agree with our mob! Attack!!!” Mob mentality set in and we haven’t looked back. The “fascism” name-calling needs to stop, for real.
The left. It’s literally all they can do.
@Nick Charles Just like in 2016. The dems only drag them out to help their narrative. They just went a little harder in the 2020 election to get Joe in before he died.
@trentbateman it would be in your head too, if you had a brain.
At this point I could double dip a chip and it would make me racist. Boy who cried wolf has made me care less about all this horse****.
Same
Everyone has the same access to the same health care. Now, you may have to get more education and work harder but if you want it, you’ll find a way.
Yea but playing the race card is easier
Gee, why not trust a vaccine that has not existed long enough to be trusted in the long term?
Vaccines are a war against god.
@Nunya Bizness then what is covid-19 the savior? are you f****** high?
As a white male I did my part and turned down the vaccine. You’re welcome!
Me too!
For real! They act like it’s a cure! It’s not!
Hahaha! Me too.
Good luck trying to go to work when they require you to get a covid-19 shot
@James Ouellette I’d rather be unemployed than dead.
Biden is sending the vaccine to GITMO first.
Aren’t states only giving the vaccine to first responders and health industry workers at this point so why are they trying to make this about race? If black people don’t make up a high % of those jobs then of course their vaccination numbers are going to be low.
“Black people don’t have the same access to healthcare” is a bold statement that went unfounded by the Dr., and I do not believe that the lot of us believe that is inherently true. That is not to say that it may not be true, but when speaking to an audience, you must understand that we do not all experience the world through the same eyes. The host made it obvious that the problem at hand is specific to “blacks and browns” not being considered earlier for the vaccines than other people, and that the reason that is a problem is because they are experiencing Covid at a much higher rate than everyone else. I felt like the Dr. was making divisive, un-explained and over-generalized race statements, instead of being specific as to the matter at hand, which kinda makes him an ineffective spokesperson.
You can have mine. You’re welcome.
With that weird old guy in the WH we see more and more divide, racism and hate across the land.
The word “Disproportionate” has 2 meanings by the way. Nobody’s falling for the trick language anymore.
A 66% effective vaccine lets not forget, with zero long term studies
Its not difficulty of access its no interest in getting a dangerous and unsafe drug that has no true purpose
He immediately plays the racial card….incredible.
