I’m so disappointed in Ontario for shitting on our children. Look at B.C. They cared about children and their mental health. Ford is such a disgrace to our province.
Unfortunately, however, B.C. still engaged in useless and destructive lockdowns of the general population at minimal risk while doing little to protect those actually vulnerable.
LTC residents in B.C. comprise 59.4% of all COVID deaths. That’s significantly higher than Ontario (and Ontario did a terrible job).
Here are the hard, cold numbers:
LTC residents in B.C.: 3.555 cases and 1,024 deaths = 28.80% case fatality rate
Everyone else in B.C.: 142,190 cases and 701 deaths = 0.49% case fatality rate
