@Beautiful Dayzee That’s not true. I got a chemical burn to my lungs on active duty and have worn masks to protect me from infection before this mess was even a thought. It’s a tight line because it does mess with my gas exchange so it has to be a day when my lung function is good enough to wear the stupid thing without blacking out but it’s better than respiratory failure from infection. That’s why kids on chemo, even infants, wear masks. To protect them from the people around them. Is it perfect? No. But it helps minimize how much you’re exposed to and having a smaller exposure gives you a better chance of fighting it, whatever it may be, off before you get really sick.
