@steve marshall Not all of them wore masks. Masks are not 100% effective but they do help. Without masks the death toll would be much higher.
If Mike Tyson punches you in the head your odds of getting knocked out go down if you put your hands up and block. Yes there’s a good chance you will get KO’d but your odds of staying awake are better than if you leave your hands down at your side.
It’s the same with masks. Not 100% protection but much better than nothing.
Another thing to note is masks are better at preventing an asymptomatic COVID person from spreading the virus to you than they are at protecting you from the spreader. That’s why we all need to wear them.

Arlansas had 24% positively yesterday. We are averaging 40 deaths a day. Gov. Asa Hutchinson has done very little to help. Now trumpy dumpy has blocked our relief. We are a ignorant state with poor leadership. Stop interviewing our governor , unless you plan to hold him accountable .

A friend was asking me what my plans were for Christmas. I told them stay home and not celebrate. They then asked if it was because someone in my family had COVID and I told them no and we intend to keep it that way. That seemed to catch them off guard.
I’m guessing there will be a lot of unhappy people in the coming weeks and a lot of busy morticians.
