The impeachments succeeded in that proof was adequate to show crimes were committed. DJT was not removed from office because that’s up to the Senate, which was controlled by the GOP and voted along partisan lines. The stealing of Classified docs and Obstruction of justice are exceptionally clear-cut crimes any high school student can understand. DJT has more political. financial and legal resources than any criminal in US history = a very lengthy period of investigation/prosecution. Wake up….the Donald is a criminal and leader of the largest domestic anti-democracy movement in history….and he’s an expert at manipulating weak minds such as yours.

For me, being outside of the US is really shocking that this is happening. I cannot fathom how the man who stirred up an angry mob and made that mob attack the Capitol, where people died, can still run for president of the United States.
I have always thought that the highest legal institutions in the United States are the most efficient in the world, and something like this, such a violation of the constitution and a crime, cannot happen in this day and age, and if it does, there will be the most severe consequences for people who committed such an act. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger can have a huge effect on Trump’s chances of winning by running against him. If he beats them in the primary they can team up and run on the same ticket as Independents in the general. They would only need to take a few thousand votes from Trump in some swing states to keep him out of the White House. That shouldn’t be too hard considering how many sane and reasonable Republicans abandoned that party once Trump took it over.
