Rotavirus starts in South America & moves up through North America each Spring. Norovirus goes around the world via cruise ships. I tested for these things as my job. If you were being sarcastic about them returning, I was just comparing them to seasonal events.

I’m also preparing for a recession (no, I’m not buying gold) as in the past Republican administrations have tended to usher in most of the recessions and Great Depression that America has had to deal with. Deregulation of finance (Wall Street) and the banking industries have often been significant causative factors in such downturns.
A virus in the Fall ( or Autumn as we say in the U.K.) may mean no election possible. Now that will put a cat among the pigeons!

When we got Dubya (Baby Bush) as “president”, I thought America was teetering on the edge of becoming a dictatorship. Looks like that’s about to happen in real time. Exactly! With no data, for those who were never tested, we are still, floating, in an ocean of “viral emergers”! That being the case, when does the spread cease. Inoculation, sublingual, topical, vaccine, (total cure), however, remain the only relief.
@Lars Jones well only a week and a half ago it was 36%, so perhaps it _was_ closer to %50 a few weeks ago. I think this change is due to increased testing capacity. Of course, with 1 in 5 still testing positive, we’re still not close to the level of testing we need.
