California’s on 🔥 and my heart is going down in flames.Born in Southern raised in Northern and love every inch of it.
I’m sorry you are having to watch this. I know it’s awful. Try to make new memories, I guess.
God bless you, and grant you regrowth.
@Bill Casey thank you. Unfortunately this is not the first time and I know it won’t be the last.
Have mercy oh God! May we turn from our wicked ways. 🙏
Huh?
@Make Racists Afraid Again Repent ye sins before the Lord
Yeah, we’re close enough to experience the thick smoke and clouded skies. The smoke has made it inside the house making it more difficult to breathe. At least we’ve not had an evacuation order… yet.
It’s smokey in the SF area. Crazy. My heart breaks for the people and the animals. 😢
Did anybody else notice that Guad Venegas looks exactly like Jimmy Kimmel?
I noticed that, but I couldn’t place where I had seen that face before, till I saw your comment.
You gotta rake the forests people.
Burn baby burn *DISCO INFERNO*
They used to do that when I was a kid. We had a lot less fires then. We didn’t use to have these super droughts. I wish they would have never quit sweeping the forest . Let’s start in the redwoods.
@Janie Covey Are you seriously blaming the drought that covers WA/OR/CA/AZ/UT/NM/CO/WY/MT/ID/BC/AB/YU/AK, plus Greece and Turkey, on not using a broom to mop the ground?
@AlbertaBound you’re ignorant to forestry, and I would imagine many other topics as well.
I live hundreds of miles away, too smoky to go outside .Greenville was a historic mining town, this is so sad.
Riveting
Wow…Dixie Normous 🔥🔥
Dang it. Just was with the wife hiking around Malibu last weekend. We were trying not to pass out from the heat and kept talking about how there was FINALLY a little growth coming back onto the hills for shade here in California.
Maybe not so much….
Thank you for that riveting contribution. 👍🏽
Summer’s hot
Third largest in California history so far
Ft worth Dallas area is experiencing a skyline of smoke coming from the fires out there-Blessings to all!
How’s California’s carbon footprint looking now? NO SO GOOD (worse than the entire nation of Communist China). Last year, the smoke from California spread all the way across America and across the entire Atlantic Ocean. Smoke and trillions of tons of CO2 caused by the Democrats in California spread half way around the entire planet!
Among other things about California this is one of the only states that I know of that has a Fire Season.
That’s because 0.00 inches of rain falls west of the Sierras from May through October. Zero. It’s not that hard to understand. You can’t even seed rain like they do in Dubai because the atmospheric moisture simply isn’t there (come to Sacramento in the summer, there is 0% chance of a cloudy day). And no, CA isn’t the only one with a “fire season”. Idaho, Oregon, British Colombia, Alaska, Saskatchewan, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico all have Fire seasons. It’s usually May/June for AZ/NM and Aug/Sep/Oct for CA/OR.
California gets wildfires EVERY YEAR.
This looks like a wasteland
so heartbreaking!!
