  1. We’ll probably be seeing more of this young man — testifying against “The Butcher” and others at the International War Crimes Court. It’s good this kid doesn’t have to carry the weight of having murdered civilians for the rest of his life. I wish him good luck.

    1. @Fish&Hunt LOL If UkrOrcs are “winning” then they won’t have to beg for 2 gazillion metric tons of LNG this winter, right guise?

      LOL

    2. @Fish&Hunt LOL UkrOrcs were the biggest liability of the USSR. Whereas the greatest Russian general of the war was by far Zhukov, the pitiful and emasuclated UkrOrcs could only produce a Timochenko who was so awful that they tried to pass him off as an Irishman named “Tim O’Shenko” LOL

A breakdown of Russian leadership & military achievements so far during the war in Ukraine.

*10 months into a 10 day ‘special military operation’.
      *Failed to take Kyiv.
      *Failed to remove Ukrainian leadership.
*Changed their strategic plan multiple times.
*Dismissed 4 Generals since the start of the war.
*Still have not gained air-superiority despite having a supposedly far superior airforce.
*A number of ships of the Black Sea Fleet either, sunk or damaged, including the flag-ship Moskva by a country with basically no navy.
*Took, but could not hold, the tiny Snake Island.
*Significantly boosted NATO membership and strength after Sweden and Finland decided to join the alliance.
*Ensured Ukraine’s eventual membership of the EU and, much longer term, most likely also NATO.
*Suffered massive troop and equipment losses.
*Lost more ground in 1 month then what was taken in 5 months and has been retreating for months now.
*Lost many of their international friends.
*Became one of the biggest arms suppliers to Ukraine from abandoned and captured hardware.
      *Committed multiple war crimes.
*Decided to mobilise an additional 300,000 extra troops at month 7 of the 10 day ‘special military operation’.
*Destroyed their economy for decades to come and turned many of their biggest trading partners against them.
*Could not even defend the most defended bridge in the world.
*Can’t defend their military airbases 500km inside Russian borders.
*Showed regular displays of very poor fire safety and smoking in non-designated areas.
*Resorted to nuclear threats against a non-nuclear nation.
*Targeted civilians because their army is getting beaten by the Ukrainian military.
*Tactically and logistically incompetent and have a poor understanding of combined-arms warfare.
*Fast running out of precision strike capability and have limited ability to build more without western supplied parts.
      *Lost Kherson.
*Flushed their future down the toilet. A toilet that was most likely stollen from Ukraine along with a washing machine and a Racoon amongst other things.
*While attempting to ‘de-nazify’ Ukraine Russia scored an own-goal ⚽️ and nazified themselves.

    1. At the start of this, Putin claimed it was a Humanitarian Peace Keeping Mission.
All of the innocent lives lost, just trying to Peacefully show Humanity…?

  3. this guy can NEVER go back to his beloved Motherland.. if he tries, he’s a walking dead man and has put his family back there in so much danger ! He seems smart enough to know this ! No way he’s that naive about how his government responds to deserters/traitors. God help him… he’ll need it !

    1. Here’s the thing. Nowadays it’s not easy for Russians to immigrate to any Western country and plenty of them want to. I watch Russian speaking channels and read comments. So far 2 Russians who fought in this war at the very beginning came forward showing their faces and both of them didn’t say a lot about the atrocities Russian army committed in Ukraine. The first one even said less than this one, he came to France. I don’t believe they are innocent. But they got abroad just by coming forward speaking about the war. Now it will be easy for them and maybe even their families to get an asylum in the West. I believe some friends of these two Russian soldiers help them with this.

    2. I think that people are underestimating how difficult it can be for a Russian soldier to desert. I think that Russia’s force protection is good enough that if things I tried just walk away or shoot his way out he’d be killed pretty quickly. Russia actually deploys a force of soldiers just to make sure their regular troops don’t abandoned you know escape or run away dessert that’s their own desert

  4. With due respect to his conscience, due to his admission that he was naive in the beginning, I sincerely believe he can be forgiven. As for what he has done and witnessed, i believe his conscience will continue to torture him till his last breath. However, that is not something in which anyone can intervene. Give the man peace, at least that much humanity can do for him and his victims. We have to be optimistic that he can do some good with the time he has left, and with the lessons life has taught him. I feel sorry for him, and ukrainians.

    1. @Lalibella Horne you sound like a person without conscience and i can’t even think of an animal to compare you to.

    1. There are no brave Russians! Ir they’re already in jail for refusing to fight. This guy went to kill ukranians when it was easy but fled when it was hard. The only reason Putin holds power is because for decades people like this have supported him or failed to fight him. The war in Ukraine started with Crimea. Where was this mans bravery then? Nowhere as he is a coward and a deserter. But maybe he can now be redeemed…

    1. May God bless innocent people in that war and open the eyes of those who make evil in this world. May He gives them opportunities to repent, and if they don’t, punish them respectively for their actions. It involves every and each one of us, we’re all implied. Nobody is perfect.
