  1. Those immigrants were also told to report at different locations in the US, like Washington state. If they donโ€™t report by the deadline they can be sent back.

  2. Donโ€™t expect Ron DeSantis to give two shits about the fallout coming from sending 2 planes full of Immigrants to Marthaโ€™s Vineyard, (a sanctuary city). He knew exactly what he was doing, and he is relishing in it!

    1. @B9Bot 1 what are the border states supposed to do with all the illegal immigrants? Martha’s Vinyard is a way better place than the southern border.

    2. @Orincito I agree totally. These people should be in shelters already being processed, since most of them are Legal. Everything in Government and the agencies assigned to help these people becomes one big circle jerk. We also have alot of closed minded people who just want them to go anywhere else. But donโ€™t use them as Human Pawns

    1. @Joe M What code what rights. They’re not American citizens. And while you’re at it Tell that to the people at Guantanamo.

    2. @Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat another low info genius you are. Do your homework & get back to me. Donโ€™t just take Dopey DeSantisโ€™ word for it. ๐Ÿฅด

Sorry Joe I know you were waiting sorry
Wanted to get you the total numbers for 2022:

The number of migrant arrivals reported along the U.S.-Mexico border in fiscal year 2022 surpassed 2 million in August, an all-time high driven in part by unprecedented levels of migration from Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, according to government data published Monday.

  3. The Democrats went from โ€œImmigrants Welcome!โ€ to โ€œNO TRESPASSING!โ€ real quick when they came to their doorstep…

  4. I love how all these people use “Sanctuary” as a dirty word, rather than something ordained in the book they claim to worship from. He wouldn’t be doing all this press tour if he knew he did this legally.

    1. @Time Surfer if I was a single parent and committed a crime, what do you think the authorities would do my kids? Ummmm take them away genius. These parents chose to break the law and there are risks involved. Just like If I crossed the Canadian border illegally with my kids and was arrested. You people are seriously delusional.

    2. All those cities officially changed to the “sanctimonious city” to prevent any further humanitarian crisis requiring 125 National Guard!

  5. “Yeah judge, I robbed the bank, but at least I didn’t kill anybody like the other bank robber did in Texas last week”.

    1. Why did the people of Marthaโ€™s Vineyard get those people out with the national guard like the next day I mean are they racist or xenophobic they canโ€™t handle 50 people like oh my god such a tragedy

  6. A TEXAS Sheriff, doing the right thing, having to do with MIGRANTS?

    WOW!

    Who’d have thought?

    Well done, sir.

    1. @girl from the bronx by way of el barrio just for that comment you’ll be receiving 5 thousand more migrants in the Bronx.enjoy

    2. @Shelby Sieg

He seems to be concerned with all crimes in his county. Just because an unfortunate event happened doesn’t mean local law enforcement isn’t concerned about it. You assume too much with no facts and make sht up in your head.

    3. Mr “Jess C”: I’m surprised that you are so poorly informed on the character of my amazing city ๐ŸŒ†. NYC is a city of immigrants, and we are enormously proud of our diversity.
We were overwhelmed with immigration in the 1880s and found a way to build a stronger society because of those challenges. We didn’t hide behind a ridiculous slogan like “close the harbor.” Unless you are a member of a native American tribe, we welcomed YOUR ancestors too. Millions and millions and millions of immigrants. Presidential Theodore Roosevelt’s progressive policies, the settlement houses, new laws to prevent child labor, growth of unions to support vulnerable immigrants against the abuses of the Robber Barons, new building standards to rework tenement buildings, etc. We found solutions, we did the work.
As a major international transportation hub, we welcome immigrants constantly everytime a plane lands. Because we are an inclusive city (although not a perfect city) refugees and immigrants know that they have access to the police without fear of ICE interference, access to public education and public health. This helps everyone to be a bit safer. Our dangers do not come from immigrants who are happy to be here, our dangers are generated by Abbott’s inability to embrace gun safety. Texas’ guns flood the iron pipeline and feed criminal gun traffickers.
Mayor Addams is asking Abbott to pick up the phone before dispatching his buses, so that refugees can receive better services. Port Authority Bus terminal is not a refugee welcome center. Strangely, Texas receives federal funds as a border state to support immigration services, and they do have an immigration center. Clearly Abbott doesn’t know how to make that center work effectively. How unfortunate. Maybe Abbott can’t handle a big job like being the governor of a large state. Vote blue ๐Ÿ’™and vote Abbott out to fix that problem in November. ๐Ÿ’™ Border states receive federal funds for immigration services. If Abbott cannot provide those services, he should refund those monies, and share those federal funds with the states where he is dumping his responsibilities. If Abbott can behave like a professional and make a phone call, we can all use public resources more efficiently.
NYC is an awesome international city that embraces its reputation as a city of immigrants. Looking forward to Florida and Texas wrapping their arms around this essential USA story. ๐Ÿ—ฝ

  7. โ€œWhen Biden is flying these people all over the fruited plain in the middle of the night, I didn’t hear a peep out of those people!” DeSantis

    1. It also didnโ€™t cost over $12K/person of taxpayer money to fly them to places aware and equipped to welcome them. Funny you left those details out.

  8. “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.” โ€” Joe Biden, describing fellow candidate Barack Obama.

โ€œUnlike the African-American community, with notable exceptions, the Latino community is an incredibly diverse community with incredibly diverse attitudes about different things.โ€ – joe biden.

โ€œIn Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkinโ€™ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.โ€ – joe biden.

โ€œWell, I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether youโ€™re for me or Trump, then you ainโ€™t black.โ€ -joe biden.

“poor kids are just as bright and as talented as white kids” – joe biden.

“not every one in the african american and hispanic community in particular, know how to use, know how to get online” – joe biden.

  9. Why is it okay for them to drop 1,500 immigrants off in McAllen TX in one week? If the people of Martha’s Vineyard, or Beverly Hills or Bel Air are not equipped to handle 50 immigrants then they shouldn’t be supporting open borders. They want to invite everyone here as long as they don’t have to look at them. Thank you Ron DeSantis for forcing these hypocrites to look at them.
