if the federal govt is going to step in every time a state passes laws they don’t like then why even have states at all. just make it one country with no borders and a rainbow flag
We’re not talking about “every law.” We’re talking about rights granted to the US Congress by the Constitution.
If the Federal Govt. attempted to pass a law that is blatantly unconstitutional: A) It wouldn’t even make it to the Senate B) It wouldn’t pass the Senate C) It wouldn’t hold up at the Supreme Court level D) If a Federal law that one state THINKS is unconstitutional is upheld by the Courts, Republican-run States will do what they’ve always done—obstruct access to the rights guaranteed by that law to the point where it may as well not be law at all.
Excellent, everyone deserves to vote. Trying to put limitations like citizenship or breathing on voting rights is just racist. Everyone deserves a vote and every vote should be counted! ( unless of course if its russians voting for a republican.) 😆😆
