Abolishing the senate isn’t a bad idea. Along with electoral college. In 1970 there were over 2800 bills a year passing the senate. The last 5 years the average is less than 250 a year. It’s since Mitch came to power in KY when it got a whole lot less democratic and a lot more fascist authoritarian

Under the new proposal to federalize building an all states these young people and others will get to go on tour buses and register to vote in Atlanta GA, Spartanburg NC, and Asheville NC. Republicans could charge her four or five tour buses and registered Republicans in key precincts in these three states. The next day, Election Day, These same individuals could return to the above mentioned states and vote. The federal law will take away domicile rights to be determined by each state.
The federal law that they are referring to is so terrible it will likely be declared unconstitutional. Let us hope.

The Senate has been and will always be a representation of the minority voters. WH ite evangelical “Christians” conservatives. This is why the electoral college was created as well. To ensure y’all always have a greater control of our democracy. Even though thank the gods y’all dying off of Covid and because you are becoming even more of an minority due to lack of population growth. The country and our democracy will be a better place when y’all gone.
Thank you Rep Kenyatta for fighting for voting rights in this country. It has already been proven that Manchin is in the pocket of Big Oil so he will never vote for peoples rights. Sinema needs a wake up call. Bring this fight to them. The filibuster needs to be reverted to its original procedure of a talking filibuster. If both voting rights packages do not pass, our democracy will die.
